After Ranveer Singh and Sara Ali Khan teased us with a poster of the next song of the Rohit Shetty directorial Simmba, the song is finally out and we are already in love with it. And it's not difficult to like it as it is another remake by Tanishk Bagchi of the original melody sung by Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan which was one of the most popular songs of the 90's. What adds to the already amazing composition is the fresh take on it with Ranveer Singh and Sara Ali Khan's beautiful performance. The duo is seen deeply in love with the backdrop of breathtaking views of the countryside of Switzerland. While we have already seen Sara singing songs in a similar setting with Sushant Singh Rajput in Kedarnath, it's after a long time that Ranveer has done a romantic number, especially one like this which is honestly full of mush. However, him being a brilliant actor and Sara having mastered the art of romancing her co-star already, this one has one our hearts instantly.
Watch the song here:
What is worth giving credit to is the way Tanishk has managed to retain the essence of the original while still bringing in some novelty to it. Penned by Rashmi Virag, the antaras of the song have beautifully blended into the original mukhda. The soulful voices of Rahat Fateh Ali Khan and Asses Kaur just add to the magic of the melody and the whole track turns out to be something you would want to hear on loop. And this was just the technical part of it. While Ranveer maintains his cop avatar, Sara is seen in beautiful outfits with floral prints and fresh colours, only making the video more visually appealing.
We hope the makers of Simmba treat us to more songs from the film before it's release so we can get more of Sangram Bhalerao with his love interest to ogle at. Stay tuned to BollywoodLife for more updates!
