A while back, Sonam Kapoor took a sly dig at Mumbai Police after they pulled up her co-star Dulquer Salmaan for breaking traffic rules. The actress clarified that they weren't driving and the car was stationed on a truck. Soon after, Dulquer, too, made it clear that the car was rigged to a low loader truck. He further gave a befitting reply to them tweeting, "Would appreciate it if you had checked some facts before tweeting this. In fact, @MumbaiPolice helped us with permissions and traffic management during the shoot and were present the whole time. In my next tweet attaching the video, I was shooting. #notawierdo." After Dulquer explained the situation, Mumbai Police appreciated that the actor didn't indulge in any irresponsible violation.
Check out Dulquer and Mumbai Police' conversation here:
@MumbaiPolice The car was rigged to a low loader truck which was also the camera rig. I couldn't steer or drive the car even if I wanted to. Also this particular car cannot steer itself. pic.twitter.com/lmJ2Ur6CQg
