Baaghi 3: Sara Ali Khan DENIES replacing Disha Patani in the Tiger Shroff-starrer franchise

There is no denying that December 2018 is Sara Ali Khan. The actress made her Bollywood debut with Kedarnath last week opposite Sushant Singh Rajput. The movie has been well-received by the critics and movie goers are loving her on the screen. And now, the actress has her knees deep in the promotions of her second big release this month. Sara will be seen opposite Ranveer Singh in Simmba. While we are excited for what awaits her post Kedarnath and Simmba, there were rumours doing the rounds earlier this morning that Sara will be seen in Baaghi 3.

The hit Tiger Shroff starrer franchise is reportedly going to begin work on the third installment and Sara is replacing Disha Patani in the upcoming. However, Sara denied all the rumours. Speaking to the press during the promotions of Simmba, the actress confirmed that she is not a part of Baaghi 3. No, those rumours are not true, she said.

Well, that s a heartbreaking news. We had already begun imagining Sara and Tiger together.

Meanwhile, a Times of India reported that Sara could be seen with Arjun Kapoor in Ashutosh Gowariker's period drama movie. But there has not been any confirmation on the project. The report also suggested that Ashutosh had expressed his interest in working on a movie featuring Sara and Arjun on a story based on three battles fought between the 16th and 18th centuries.

Only time will tell what kind of projects Sara associates herself with. Anyway, we re eagerly awaiting the release of Simmba. The movie is a remake of the Telugu movie Temper. The original version was played by Jr NTR.

Simmba releases on December 28.

Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2, 17 December 2018 written update of full episode: Madhuri reveals Naveen's plan

Today s episode starts with Prerna being conscious. She recollects that someone had hit her head from back because of which she got unconscious. She remembers that she had come back to the Basu house again but she wonders how she came to that room instead going to the mandap for the wedding. There is a flashback where Prerna comes at the door of the house but she remembers what Anurag told her. But still she decides to get married to Naveen. By that time Anurag and Shivani come there. She also remembers that Anurag took her to that room asking her about the reason of getting married to Naveen. Prerna pretends that there is no any other reason behind her marrying Naveen. She again tries to go to the mandap but Anurag gets angry. He asks her not to say lies to him. He asks her why can t she see the real face of Naveen even after having such beautiful eyes. She still doesn t listen to him. SO he asks her whether the cost of her life is Rs. 15 lacs. Prerna is shocked to hear that. She recollects that Shivani must have told him about it. She gets emotional. Anurag asks her not to sacrifice her life for Rs. 15 lacs. He asks her about the love she is waiting to come in her life. He says that after knowing all the fact, he will not let her get married to Naveen. Prerna cries a lot as the frustration for her decision which was inside her bursts out after that. Anurag holds her hand. He consoles her but lets her cry out all the tension. Later she asks him not to care much about her as she doesn t deserve it. She reveals that she knew everything about the accident that Naveen caused to him but she says that he cannot take her out from that problem. She tells him that she tried applying for the personal loan but nothing could be possible. So she accepted he only way she had which was to marry Naveen. ANurag asks her why she didn t talk to her Moloy uncle about the issue. She tells him that she tried talking to Moloy but that time Nibedita had some issue of Accounts so she had blamed Rajesh for that so she could not talk to Moloy about this issue. She says that Rs.15 lacs might be a small amount for him but for her family, it is a big amount. She cries a lot. Both of them look at each other remembering the moments spent together. Anurag wipes her tears. Prerna hugs him. But immediately she says that she cannot back out from the marriage as Mohini will get upset as she is doing it for her family and stops saying suddenly as she was about to talk about him. Anurag tries to make her understand that she should not get married to Naveen. But she is not ready to listen to him. He hugs her saying something weird which she cannot understand. Later he makes her unconscious with a handkerchief having some chloroform on it. He apologizes to Prerna saying that he didn t have any other option to stop her. Prerna gets unconscious. She is still having pain in her head as Anupam hit her badly. She tries to open the door as she feels that there is time for the wedding but she finds that the door is locked from outside. She keeps on asking for help but no one is there.

On the other side, Madhuri accepts in front of Mohini that Naveen is her husband and they have been married for many years even they have kids. She also clears that she never got married to Naveen s brother but she got married to Naveen only. Mohini is shocked to know all that. Madhuri says that she supported Naveen in all thr right and wrong decisions taken by Naveen but today he is letting others questioning her instead of giving her respect in front of all. She says that Anurag rightly said that Naveen is a disgusting and coward person as Naveen never learns from his mistakes. She says that she did the first mistake by listening to what he said to her and marrying to the same person again. But she is happy that Prerna s life was saved because of her. Naveen gets angry on her. He pretends that she is lying. But Madhuri also shouts on him saying that his shouting will not turn his lies into truth. She reveals that Naveen made her say all the lie else he would have made her away from her kids but he doesn t allow her. Mohini is shocked to know that. She cries a lot as she has not met her kids for almost a year. She calls Naveen as a Devil. Naveen gets angry. He says that if he is a devil then he will kill her. He starts beating her. But Anurag pushes him away from her. He holds Naveen s collar. He says that he will get him arrested as he will get punishment for what he has done. Moloy interefers. He asks Anurag to calm down. He expresses his wish to ask a question to Madhuri. He asks her about how she decided to ditch Naveen and save Prerna s life as so far she kept supporting Naveen. Madhuri says that Anurag made her realize her mistake and he convinced her to sit beside Naveen as a bride. Anurag reveals that it was not easy for him to convince her as she loves Naveen a lot. Madhuri says that she knew that Naveen was obsessed with Prerna so he also cancelled the deal with the person he had promised to. There is a flashback where Madhuri fights with Naveen as he reveals that he loves Prerna. He also promises that once he is satisfied with Prerna, he will come back to her. All are shocked and wondering about all that. Shivani gives water to Madhuri. Anurag asks Madhuri whether he can discuss the thing which they had discussed. Madhuri asks Naveen why he never thought of her wishes as she always listened to him for him but it didn t matter for him. Anurag reveals that he had no other option to stop the marriage as his intention was right. He explains all that he tried to stop Prerna from marrying Naveen but she was stubborn so he kidnapped her.

Directed by Abhishek Varman and produced by Karan Johar, the film has got together Sanjay Dutt, Madhuri Dixit, Varun Dhawan, Alia Bhatt, Sonakshi Sinha, Aditya Roy Kapur and Kunal Roy Kapur. Now all these actors coming together is reason enough to look forward to this film which is releasing on 19th April.

Brahmastra

Brahmastra is definitely one of the most awaited films of 2019. We will see Alia, Ranbir Kapoor, Amitabh Bachchan, Nagarjuna, Dimple Kapadia and Mouni Roy in this Ayan Mukerji directorial. The fantasy film will be releasing on 20th December.

Takht

When KJo had announced this film, everyone couldn’t believe the dream star cast. The Mughal period drama stars Ranveer Singh, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Vicky Kaushal, Alia Bhatt, Bhumi Pednekar, Janhvi Kapoor, Anil Kapoor. Isn’t this a major casting coup? We will have to wait till the end of next year because Takht is releasing on 6th December.

Bharat

This film starring Salman Khan, Katrina Kaif, Disha Patani, Tabu and Sunil Grover, is an adaption of the Korean film, Ode To My Father. Directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, the film will release on 5th June.

Uri: The Surgical Strike

The film starring Vicky Kaushal, Yami Gautam and marking Mohit Raina‘s debut in Bollywood, is based on Indian Army’s surgical strike on Pakistan. Directed by Aditya Dhar, Uri will release on 11th January.

Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga

This is the first time Sonam Kapoor and Anil Kapoor are going to come together for a film! This is one major reason for us to look forward to ELKDTAL. The film, directed by Shelly Chopra Dhar, also stars Rajkummar Rao and Juhi Chawla and will release on 1st February.

Mental Hai Kya

We can only imagine what will happen when two powerhouse performers like Kangana Ranaut and Rajkummar Rao will come together for this film. The posters of this Prakash Kovelamudi directed has already got us intrigued and we can’t wait to watch this film on 29th March.

Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi

Kangana Ranaut has given her heart and soul to this film and we hope the hard work pays off well. The film is based on the life of Rani Laxmibai and also marks the debut of Ankita Lokhande in Bollywood. The historical biographical film will release on 25th January.

The Sky Is Pink

The film will be Priyanka Chopra‘s Bollywood comeback and we can’t wait to see her in the Hindi movies again. Also starring Farhan Akhtar, Zaira Wasim and Rohit Suresh Saraf, The Sky Is Pink is directed by Shonali Bose and will release in 2019.

The Zoya Factor

The quirky poster of the film starring Dulquer Salmaan and Sonam Kapoor got our attention. This Abhishek Sharma‘s film is adapted from Anuja Chauhan‘s novel of the same name and will release in 2019.

Varun Dhawan-KatrinaKaif’s Dance Film

Varun Dhawan and Katrina Kaif are both amazing dancers and them coming together for a dance film which is going to be directed by Remo D’Souza, is the best news, don’t you agree? The untitled film is set to release on 8th November.

Chhichhore

“A timeless tale of timepass,” wrote director Nitesh Tiwari sharing the poster of the film. This was enough for us to look forward to it. Starring Shraddha Kapoor, Sushant Singh Rajput in the lead, Chhichhore will release on 30th August.

Good News

Akshay Kumar, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Kiara Advani and Diljit Dosanjh in one film is going to be awesome. This indeed was good news for all their fans! Directed by Raj Mehta and produced by Dharma, the film will release on 19th July.

Super 30

Hrithik Roshan will be seen as a mathematician in this film which is being directed by Vikas Bahl. Super 30 is scheduled to release on 25th January.

Kesari

This period drama starring Akshay Kumar and Parineeti Chopra is directed by Anurag Singh. As per reports, the film is based on Havildar Ishar Singh who participates in the Battle of Saragarhi. The film will release on 21st March.

Student Of The Year 2

The sequel to Student Of The Year will mark the debut of Ananya Panday and Tara Sutaria. SOTY 2, directed by Punit Malhotra and also stars Tiger Shroff and will release on 10th May. Are you excited for this one?

Jabariya Jodi

Rajkummar Rao to come on-board with Deepika Padukone for Meghna Gulzar's next?

The year 2018, as we have discussed earlier, has been a year of content-rich films that proved yet again that content is king. That, along with the mettle of 'character actors,' who have successfully outgrown the bracket to become commercially viable stars too. And out of the many names, Rajkummar Rao scored a home-run with his horror-comedy Stree. The actor, who was beyond good in the movie, has even carved a niche for himself and bagged many awards while doing so. In fact, the good news is that there is no stopping him cause reportedly Raj is all set to venture into another ambitious project. According to The Asian Age, Rajkummar has been approached for Meghna Gulzar's next, opposite Deepika Padukone in a film who has also turned a producer for the same. The film is a biopic on Laxmi Agarwal an acid attack survivor and revolves around the subject of acid attacks in India. Apparently it's a meaty role and Meghna is keen on casting him. A source was quoted saying, "The role is substantial and has excited Rao. He has not yet worked with Deepika. A role that drives back home a social message has excited the actor. He did a superb cameo in Raabta which got many people talking especially for his make-up among other things." While the actor has not signed on the dotted line yet, he is expected to do it soon. Earlier, Meghna had told PTI, I am using Laxmi Agarwal as a subject because she is the most known acid fighter. Plus her case and her story has been the most relevant in terms of where legislation on acid violence, medical advancement, compensation for victims and things like that was concerned.

On the professional front, Rajkummar Rao will be next seen in Mental Hai Kya, which is directed by National award-winning Telugu filmmaker, Prakash Kovelamudi. He is known for helming films like Bommalata and Anaganaga O Dheerudu. The film marks the second collaboration between Rajkummar and Kangana after Queen (2014). It is produced by Ekta Kapoor and is set to hit the screens on March 29, 2019.

Bigg Boss 12, day 92 preview: The rivalry between Dipika Kakar and Sreesanth intensifies

Bigg Boss 12 is nearing its finale and contestants are having sleepless nights as everyone is trying their best to take home the coveted trophy. With only seven contenders remaining in the house, Bigg Boss gave them an interesting task, one that would give them direct entry to the finale week.

The week began with Sreesanth and Dipika s argument where Sreesanth felt that he would not make it to the finale but Karanvir and Dipika will go as they are popular television icons. This upset Dipika and both had a huge argument which was later resolved.

Soon Bigg Boss announced the task for the week called Bigg Boss fire station. A fire brigade was set up in the garden area and two buildings with windows opposite to it. All the contestant had to be the firefighters. With each fire alarm, two contestants had go in the fire brigade and pictures of two other contestants would appear on the window of each building. The firefighters present in the fire brigade had to mutually decide who they wanted to save for the finale week and put out the fire of that window. The other contestant would get half cross on their name as they had two chances to save themselves. If there was a full cross on any contestants name, that contestant would be eliminated from the finale race.

Everyone geared up for this task as this was their chance to enter the finale week. A lot of planning and discussion was seen amongst them to win the ticket to finale.

EXCLUSIVE! THIS Haasil actor to play Karan Vohra's on-screen mother in Krishna Chali London

Star Plus' daily soap Krishna Chali London is finally getting to its main plot. The leads have finally shifted to London, which was basically the plot of the story. And not just that, there are a few new entries in the show as well. TV actor Karan Vohra, who made his TV debut with Zee TV's Zindagi Ki Mehek, has been brought on board to play the parallel lead in the daily. Vohra, who played a business tycoon in his last, will play a cardiologist in his next. BollywoodLife has this exclusive piece of information, that along with Vohra there will be a few more entries in the show. Out of the many, one character would be of his mother.

A source close to the development reveals that the makers' hunt to find the character has come to an end. Yamini Singh, a renowned TV artist, who was seen in Sony TV's Haasil has been roped in to play Karan's on-screen mother. "Her character is going to be really important in the screenplay, as she would change the dynamics between Veer (Karan's character) and the other two leads," the source added. Singh has signed the papers and begun the shooting as well. Currently, she is also a part of Internet Waala Love.

The team is currently shooting in London and the episodes would go on air from December 20.

Interestingly, we have heard Veer will be Krishna's (Megha Chakraborty) professor on the show. Apparently, his character would be someone who cannot stand India and Indians. Obviously, with Krishna and Radhe (Gaurav Sareen) entering, the dynamics between the three would change.

Aquaman Box office collection: DC film SHATTERS records in China; surpasses Captain America: Civil War’s LIFE TIME earning in just 10 days

Aquaman released in several international markets and we are applauding James Wan, Jason Momoa and everyone from the team of the film because they have put up a brilliant show at the box office worldwide. The DC movie is yet to release in the US, but it is earning a fantastic box office collection on the international front, namely China. Aquaman released two weeks in advance in the Middle Kingdom country and boy, is it riding the high tides!

As per Variety, Aquaman has already recorded $189 million within 10 days of its release in the country. The publication also reports that the movie earned $53.9 million since the opening weekend, placing the DC movie to the current stature. This massive 10-day collection has helped the movie to not only beat Captain America: Civil War s 10-day collection in the country but also surpass the Marvel movie s lifetime collection in China.

According to Box Office Mojo, the Iron Man v Captain America flick earned $180 million throughout its run at the theatres. The Marvel movie earned about $93.64 million at its opening weekend.

That s not the only record Wan should be proud of. With the 10-day collection, Aquaman has established the fourth spot in the highest earning superhero movies in China and is the second highest earning DC movie in the Middle Kingdom. The top three spots are occupied by Avengers: Infinity War, Venom, and Avengers: Age of Ultron.

Worldwide box office:

Apart from the Chinese markets, Aquaman has everyone hooked in 42 international markets. The movie has witnessed the second best opening for a DC movie in Asia, Deadline reports. The top spot is held by Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.

The website also adds that apart from China, Brazil, Russia, Mexico and the UK are the top contributors to Aquaman s worldwide box office collection.

India box office collection:

Aquaman made a huge splash in India. The DC superhero movie has earned Rs 28 crore during the first weekend run according to recent box office reports. The movie is expected to sail through Rs 60 crore over the course of this week, trade analyst Taran Adarsh predicts.

US box office collection:

Although the movie hasn t officially released yet, the movie has hosted paid previews in approximately 1,225 theaters across the US and has earned about $3 million through the preview, Deadline reports. Now to see as to how will it perform over the first weekend of its release.

Speaking about the sets of the film Yash said, "We have depended on sets a lot because we had to create the 70s and 80s feel. This one particular set I'm talking about is in KGF where we shoot the Gold Mine portion. We started with location and went for many places. They went for a lot of mines. Finally, they ended up choosing the KGF location itself.A lot of people recommended not to shoot there. They said it's very risky because that's a processed sand. Extraction could've happened and extraction happens with cyanide. Cyanide, of course, it is not active but still, it can have its side effects but the whole geography of that place was very unique." The actor added, "Our art director Shivu had done an amazing job. He has worked on each and every small aspect of the department, even the smallest tools. There is a maintenance area where there's a shaft and where mining happens. There is a hut area where everybody stays. The whole geography of the place, we had to have a different kind of sets. We had a lot of issues because the weather didn't support us. Unfortunately, all of us had to be barefoot so it used to be so hard. For taking one small shot also, it used to be difficult. We used to pour water, it used to evaporate like this! Two minutes is the max we could take one shot. After that, we used to run."

Yash further spoke saying, "DOP Bhuvan Gavda has done an amazing job. He was not compromising, especially with the lighting. We used to go there early in the morning. In the rainy season, even to go there with a vehicle was difficult. We knew we're making something big, so all of us were motivated. We didn't let it go.VFX we've only used for extension most of the times. We had a massive set also and at the same time we had a huge curve but still very few places we felt that we have to fill it till the end or maybe we had to change backdrop because the city was seen in few places. I would ask people who come to the theatre, they should come with a very fresh mind because this cinema is very different from regular cinema and that was our intention. I should thank Prashant Dhir. He's the man who has created this kind of world for all of us. So KGF, yes it was one such script where I felt yes, this will definitely entertain people.

The film is made in five languages, namely Kannada, Tamil, Telugu, Hindi and Malayalam. The magnum opus traces the period of the glory of the gold mine and gives insights into the history of the mines located in Karnataka.

Starring Yash, Srinidhi Shetty, Ramya Krishna, Ananth Nag, John Kokken, Achyuth Rao in the lead, KGF is a Homabale Films production directed by Prashanth Neel, produced by Vijay Kiragandur. The period drama traces the tenure of the late 70s and will be made in two parts. The first of which will be titled KGF Chapter 1 which is slated to release on 21st December 2018.

Here’s What Katrina Kaif Has To Say About Karan Johar Saying No To Item Numbers In His Films

Item numbers in Bollywood songs have existed ever since I can remember. Many of us have sung and danced to it without even taking in the full meaning of such songs. But recently, there has been a shift in attitude towards these specifically objectifying dance numbers and people, more importantly, B-Town celebrities have been taking a firm stand against these dance numbers and we’re sort of glad. Let me clarify, a woman dancing alone wearing a glittering outfit does not necessarily classify as an objectifying dance number. What people do not seem to realize is that it is not always about the person performing the dance, but also about how impressionable these songs can be to a whole other economic stratum. There are a lot of other parts that come into play, like the lyrics of the song for instance. Film royalty Karan Johar had quite a lot to say on this topic while talking to Film Companion.

Talking about whether the #MeToo movement will bring about a change in content in the Hindi film industry he said,

I have gone on record and apologized that I have had item songs in my feature films and I don’t think I would do it again. I have no problem with like a girl dancing, that’s not an item number. An item song is when she is objectified and when there are men lusting for her like ‘Chikni Chameli’. I don’t think I would ever do that again. It’s never gonna happen in a Dharma Productions film and I will make sure of it. Like ‘Desi Girl’ is not an item song but ‘Chikni Chameli’ is. And, I don’t think I would do it.

Along with having produced movies in which there have been item numbers, Karan also admitted to having sung these songs when he was younger without any qualms, not having understood the meaning of it then.

He said,

I have grown up singing to ‘Khambe Jaisi Khadi Hai, Ladki Hai Ya Chadi Hai’ and I didn’t even realize what those words are. Then you suddenly sing that song and you are like, ‘Oh My God! This is so misogynistic’. And, it’s absolutely ridiculous that we have done it and a lead actor like Aamir Khan had danced on that song. He himself, on my show, has actually said that ‘I did this and I apologise like I wouldn’t do it again’. We don’t even think what these words are. Like I’ve no problem with brilliantly written and a beautiful song. Just the way how Gulzar saab wrote the songs of ‘Omkara’. They are stunning! ‘Zabaan Pe Lagaa, Lagaa Re, Namak Ishq Ka’ – is beautiful. Even ‘Bidi Jalaile’. It’s the way you picturize a song like that. You’ve got to kind of make sure that you don’t because eventually we are a very impressionable medium.

But apparently, Katrina Kaif who danced on Chikni Chameli had something entirely different to say about the matter while talking to DNA.

I feel very differently on the matter. I feel it’s all down to the individual who is performing the song. Madonaa, who I’m sure we all know of, I don’t think she is feeling objectified. I don’t think Beyonce who performs in a swimsuit on stage is feeling objectified. It’s all about how you feel while you are performing that song. I can tell you, I never felt objectified in ‘Chikni Chameli’. I enjoyed that song. I enjoyed the dance, I enjoyed what I was doing. I didn’t even for a moment felt objectified or brought any kind of wrong eyes on me.

This Is The First Major Extinction That Independent India Will See Unless We Do Something About It

One of the saddest things that conservationists and scientists have to deal with, in my opinion, is how their warnings and words of caution go unheeded till the absolute last minute. Then it becomes a case of “Oh well, nothing to be done now!”, which is not true because as they say, it’s not over till it’s over. This is precisely why even though warning bells were ignored about the impending extinction of the Great Indian Bustard, there is a need now, more than ever, to band together to try and ensure that independent India doesn’t see the first-ever extinction of a bird in our lifetime.

More About The Bird In Question…

The Great Indian Bustard is native to India and shares the same kind of habitat of the black buck. Since this bird is not found anywhere else in the world, once its population dies out here, that’s the end. They are only found in our country and as of 2018, there are fewer than 150 individuals fragmented across habitats in Rajasthan, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka. Madhya Pradesh was also a part of this list, but it has now been declared locally extinct in the state. It is a grassland bird that was even considered when officials were picking what the national bird should be, but ultimately it was not chosen because they feared that the name would be commonly misspelt as ‘bastard’ instead of ‘bustard’.

How Did We Get Here?

This bird, which is endemic to India, with a world population of only 150 now, has many reasons that contributed to its sharp decline in such a short period of time. It is estimated that the Great Indian Bustard (GIB) can go extinct as early as the year 2020 if something isn’t done… fast! Madhya Pradesh has already lost all its birds, Andhra Pradesh, Gujarat and Karnataka have a handful in each state, and topping the list is Rajasthan, with a measly 100. By far the saddest is the story of the one lonely GIB in Maharashtra, who performs its mating ritual for a non-existent mate.

Amongst the different reasons for its population decline are the fact that India’s grasslands (their natural habitats) are being converted and developed by a government, who thinks of these areas as revenue wastelands. Why protect natural spaces when they can be used for ‘development’, right? Another reason is that this rapid urbanisation has led to a lot of waste, and therefore a proliferation of stray dogs to whom these ground-nesting birds are super easy targets. Unfortunately, even the GIB’s own biological clock is not helping matters because they only breed once every other year. They are like humans in that sense, one can say.

But most importantly, the biggest factor that has caused this rapid decline is the high tension power transmission lines, which are present throughout GIB grassland territory. They have been the cause of an innumerable number of electrocutions. Close to 20 Great Indian Bustards, on an average, are said to die by electrocution every year, and that is a scary number considering their total population, as mentioned earlier, is only 150.

What Can We Do?

Sanctuary Asia and The Corbett Foundation & Conservation India have started a campaign petition that they will submit to the Ministry of Power. It is to appeal to the government to simply bury the high tension power lines and assure this magnificent bird has its rightful space in its own habitat.

As wildlife conservationist Cara Tejpal said on Instagram,

I cannot bring myself to sit back when we are witnessing the first major extinction that Independent India will see. I fear that it will say about us as a people if we allow the GIB to slip into oblivion. Particularly so because there are both solutions and money at our disposal. What’s missing altogether is political will and public outrage. The latter is so easy to express in the age of social media and I implore you to be angry. Our petition to India’s Ministry of Power is now live on the Conservation India website.

MTV's Splitsvilla XI has been inching towards a conclusion. The youth-based dating reality show has been not doing that well, unlike its predecessor. However, the drama quotient in the show is at its peak. Well, the season is about to end and if in case you cannot wait for the season finale to find out about the winners, then we are coming to your rescue. The season has been won by wildcard entrant Gaurav Alugh and his best friend Shruti Sharma. This is one of those rare occasions when a wildcard entrant has won the reality series. Alugh had entered the show mid-season and changed the dynamics of the show. In fact, the followers of the season expected Shruti Sharma and her connection Rohan Hingorani to win the show. However, Rohan has already been evicted and the chances of him returning seem quite bleak.

“If This Film Doesn’t Work, What Will Happen?” – Shah Rukh Khan On Zero

Shah Rukh Khan has been promoting his upcoming film, Zero lately. SRK has impressed the audiences with his acting skills, screen presence and hence he is known as the Baadshah of Bollywood. However, like any other actor, he has had his share of hits and misses too. His latest releases, Jab Harry Met Sejal, Fan and Raees failed to impress. The actor is very aware of the effect the back-to-back misses can have on an actor’s career, no matter their popularity. In a recent interview with the leading daily, Hindustan Times, SRK opened up and spoke about the same discussing what would happen if Zero met the same fate.

Here’s what he said:

See, I can’t change that, and if I can’t change something, why should I think about it? If people feel that Zero is very important for me, it’s their feeling. God forbid, if this film doesn’t work, what will happen? Maybe, I won’t get work for six months or 10 months, but if I believe that my craft and art is good, I will continue to get work.

Talking about how he chooses his films, he said:

Then, I will probably make a comeback which I have been doing for the last 15 years (laughs), or maybe, the comeback won’t happen. The trade world has a point of view about a film’s business, and they are right from their viewpoint. Main dekhta hoon ki is film ki story kya hai? Or is mein nayapan kya hai? That’s more important to me.

The trailer and previews of Zero seem to be interesting and we are looking forward to the film which releases on 21st December 2018.

Anushka Sharma FINALLY breaks her silence about pregnancy rumours, says, 'It's something no one can hide'

Bollywood beauty Anushka Sharma has had a dream year so far. She has had a good slate with her experimental production Pari and a bonafide hit with Yash Raj's Sui Dhaaga alongside Varun Dhawan. In a recent interview with The Times of India, she said,"I got married at a young age for a reason. If you are having a baby, it is something that no one can hide. Not just that, she also commented about the cycle of news that picks up after a wild speculation and spreads like fire. "People can keep speculating (about someone being pregnant), and then after four months when they realise that these stories are false, they will feel silly and say, Let s go after the other one who got married, let s talk about her now ! This is done to generate news. There is absolutely no truth to it and it s not something that s being planned in the near future," the actress added. Well, guess that settles it once and for all.

Meanwhile, Anushka will be seen playing the role of a scientist in Zero, whereas Shah Rukh will play the part of a dwarf and Katrina will be his love interest. Produced by Red Chillies Entertainment, Zero is scheduled to release on December 21, 2018.

Karan Johar pledges to never make item songs like 'Chikni Chameli' again, here's what Katrina Kaif has to say

Item songs in Bollywood, by virtue, are meant to entice. If you aren't well-versed with the 'chart-topping' ones, it is essentially women calling themselves 'Tandoori murgi' and opening themselves to objectification, which is not only disgraceful but also problematic. Thank God, makers are finally waking up and smelling the coffee, especially after the #MeToo movement that shook the industry. Case in point, Karan Johar who recently pledged that he will never make another 'Chikni Chameli' and its likes. KJo, in talk with Film Companion's Anupama Chopra, said, "I have gone on record and apologized that I have had item songs in my feature films and I don't think I would do it again. The actress, who is loved for her dance numbers said that she never felt objectified while shooting these songs. when asked about Karan's pledge, Kat told DNA, "I didn't know that was said, but I feel very differently on the matter. I feel it's all down to the individual who is performing the song. Madonaa, who I'm sure we all know of, I don't think she is feeling objectified. It all depends on the angle and lens it's being seen," adds Katrina.

After a lot of hype and excitement, Miss Universe 2018 has been announced and its Miss Philippines Catriona Gray, who has beaten 93 contestants to win the crown. The 24-year-old singer and model was seen in a sparkling red dress, which was inspired by the volcano in the Philippines. The beauty pageant was held at Bangkok, Thailand. After getting in the top 20, host Steve Harvey asked Catriona, "You are a singer and musician. If you are going to write a song about your experience here in Miss Universe, what would you call it?". She replied, "As Miss Philippines, I've always felt the love and the support of the Filipino people. And I think I brought half of my country here tonight and so I would name the song Raise Your Flag, because I stand here not as one, but as a hundred and more millions of Filipinos."

Zareen Khan slaps a**holes at a store launch after they try to touch her inappropriately

We have all heard case of mob mentality and transgressions that almost always happen. Recently, actress Zareen Khan had to suffer such a harrowing experience in Aurangabad when she visited the city for a store launch. Reportedly, she was mobbed by a sea of fans gathered and it all turned awry when a few creeps crossed the line and tried to brush past her or touch her inappropriately. It all happened two days ago when Zareen attended a store launch in Aurangabad. A throng of fans stood outside the store, waiting for the actress to make an appearance. However, as she tried to reach her car, a bunch of them tried to molest her. Since Zareen is not the one to take it lying down, she whacked some sense into the miscreants. Apparently, the crowd became unruly, so much so, that the police were compelled to resort to lathi charge. An eyewitness was quoted saying, "Zareen gave it back to them very well, those guys deserved to be put in place. Better arrangements need to be made if and when celebrities are called to any place."

Earlier, Zareen was in the news when a rider rammed into her car and died. An officer from Anjuna police station told Mumbai Mirror, "The actress was in an Innova and the driver was taking a U-turn when the accident occurred. The car s occupants also sustained minor injuries. Further investigation will be done on the basis of CCTV footage and eyewitness accounts". The daily also reported that a case of negligent driving has been filed against the actress' driver Ali Abbas. The deceased was not wearing a helmet and post the incident, the actress took the man to the hospital.

Kedarnath CRUSHES Kai Po Che and Shuddh Desi Romance to become Sushant Singh Rajput's second-highest grosser

Director Abhishek Kapoor's Kedarnath has performed pretty well at the box office. In 10 days, the pilgrimage love story raked in Rs 54.21 crore and has now become the second highest grosser of Sushant Singh Rajput surpassing the lifetime business of his debut film Kai Po Che, which had earned Rs 50 crore during its theatrical run. Interestingly, both the films are helmed by Abhishek Kapoor.

The show is seeing a track where Ishaan's (Kinshuk Mahajan) mom tells Mauli (Aditi Dev Sharma) that she has to cut off all ties with her ex-husband, Kunal (Shakti Arora). Mauli promises that she will sever all ties with him. However, she has fallen in love with Kunal once again after spending time with him at the medical relief camp. Ishaan will see this and lose his cool. Dida (Neena Cheema) and Radhika (Jaya Bhattacharjee) will be worried about the new storm in Ishaan and Mauli's life.

If Zero fails, Shah Rukh Khan feels he ‘won’t get work for six months or 10 months’ – read full statement

Zero releases this weekend and everyone in the industry is hoping that the Shah Rukh Khan movie works. The Aanand L Rai directorial sees the actor play a dwarf for the first time in his career. While the trailer and songs have got everyone talking, only the weekend will tell if Zero won everyone s hearts or if it will join the likes of Raees, Fan and Jab Harry Met Sejal. Although we hope that the December release breaks the curse of flops in SRK s career, the actor says that if the weekend box office is not in his favour, he might not have work for the coming few months.

Speaking to Hindustan Times, the Zero star, See, I can t change that, and if I can t change something, why should I think about it? If people feel that Zero is very important for me, it s their feeling. God forbid, if this film doesn t work, what will happen? Maybe, I won t get work for six months or 10 months.

However, that doesn t mean he is questioning his craft. The actor added, But if I believe that my craft and art is good, I will continue to get work.

The actor goes on to say that while box office is important, it is the story that plays an important influencer for SRK. The trade world has a point of view about a film s business, and they are right from their viewpoint. Main dekhta hoon ki is film ki story kya hai? Or is mein nayapan kya hai? That s more important to me, he said.

Will Aquaman star Jason Momoa turn Khal Drogo one last time for Game of Thrones reunion episode? Actor spills the beans

Before opening the final chapter, "Game of Thrones" makers will be treating fans with a reunion episode. But actor Jason Momoa says he won't be a part of the special episode. HBO channel confirmed the news of the special episode, but it won't air on the network. It will only be available as part of the complete series home video box set, which will package all eight seasons together.

Asked if he will make an appearance in the reunion episode, Momoa told IANS exclusively: "I don't think so." Momoa played the role of the warlord of the Dothraki people Khal Drogo in the series, which brings the story from George R.R. Martin's novels about the quest to claim the Iron Throne alive. The final season will arrive in April next year.

Shankar Ehsaan Loy‘s composition + Diljit Dosanjh‘s voice + Gulzar‘s lyrics = This song is going to be in my playlist forever and ever and ever.

3. O Saathi from Baaghi 2

The song, featured on Tiger Shroff and Disha Patani has a very sweet college romance vibes. It helps that the lead protagonists are a real-life couple too.

4. Theher Ja from October

Just in case you don’t like this song or are wondering why this made it to the list, pay attention to the lyrics. It’s a beautifully written sung, sung to perfection by Armaan Malik.

5. Saanu Ek Pal Ke Chain from Raid

Rahat Fateh Ali Khan. ‘Nuff said!

6. Aaj Se Teri from Padman

I am aware that the song has been deemed patriarchal by many sections of the society. Asking a woman too cook ‘Malpua‘ in return for a few jobs stereotypically assigned to men is not exactly the kind of progress we need in 2018. But the core of this song is love and a man’s affection for his new bride. I am willing to cut some slack for it.

7. Ek Dil Ek Jaan from Padmaavat

This one is a no-brainer actually. Shahid Kapoor and Deepika Padukone romance each other with their eyes only and leave us with a myriad of emotions. Apart from the elaborate sets and costumes, Sanjay Leela Bhansali definitely knows how to get his music right.

8. Lae Dooba from Aiyaary

The film didn’t do very well on the Box Office but this song has just too many *feeeeels*. Blame the lyrics!

9. Daryaa from Manmarziyaan

I had goosebumps when I first listened to this sing. #TrueStory. Yeah I am hopelessly romantic, sue me!

10. Main Badiya Tu Bhi Badiya from Sanju

I had to include a song for romantics who don’t confirm to traditions and love being quirky. Romance is subjective, remember?
