Sara Ali Khan visits Vikas Gupta's house to promote Kedarnath

Soon to make her debut, Sara Ali Khan is already leaving everyone charmed. Since the first look of Kedarnath released, everyone is already in awe of Sara, the daughter of Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh. To promote her upcoming film, the actress, who is like a breath of fresh air in the industry, is going all out. She has been part of several shows to promote the flick. And now she has even entered the youth-based reality show, Ace of Space. The MTV show was brightened with her charming presence. The actress made an elegant fashion statement in a blue couture dress. Nude makeup, side hairdo and loops completed her look with utmost perfection. And, we are sure the viewers will not be able to take their eyes off this beauty once she enters mastermind Vikas Gupta's house and interacts with the contestants out there. The question which pops in the minds of the viewers is as to what twist is she going to bring in to the show.

From what we saw, the actress is seen interacting with Shehzad Deol and Prateik Sharma.

The episode of Sara will go on air on Friday. She was joined by film's director Abhishek Kapoor. Recently, Ace of Space saw the eviction of Akanksha Sharma, who was also a part of Bigg Boss.

Post her eviction, she exclusively spoke to us. She said "Ace Of Space is definitely more difficult, there is absolutely no connection with the outside world and just being in rooms 24 x 7 with the same people constantly, no time to be by yourself to recharge your energies. We had to sleep on floors, the alarms were outrageous. Bigg Boss is a cakewalk in comparison."

Bigg Boss 12, day 73 preview: Sreesanth and Megha are slammed for their indecent behavior

Accusations, offence taking and defensive statements, the housemates dug every allegation from the past and brought them out in the open. The rivalries came full circle in the BB Panchayat task. Dipika turned the tables on Surbhi with accusations that left the captain fumbling for a proper defence. Romil Choudhary found himself in the line of fire when he faced accusations of making nasty comments about his housemates. Rohit was found guilty of the charges levied on him.

While Dipika won two rounds and Deepak only one, Deepak and his team went berserk and started to plot a defense to their game. On day two of the task Dipika alleged Deepak for his unruly behaviour in the house and his habit of poking everyone. Deepak accused Megha for her use of foul language. Later Deepak also accused Sreesanth of disrespecting the show and Dipika accused Karanvir of being confused and not having a personality.

While the accusations were being made, there was a heated argument between the sarpanch Jasleen and Somi for selecting the case. Both thought that they were favouring their friends and being biased to the game.

Will Somi and Jasleen be able to come to a conclusion or will Bigg Boss have an alternate solution to the situation?

While all eyes were on the #Nickyanka, what we missed out was who Pari is posing with. Charit Desai is the one who is posing for the picture right above her. Pari and Charit have been rumoured to be dating before but seeing them part of such an intimate wedding party, it’s adding more fuel to the speculations.

Turns out all of Parineeti’s hit singles Maana Ke Hum Yaar Nahi (Meri Pyaari Bindu, 2017), Dil Hai Awara and the upcoming one, Mujhe Tum are all directed by Charit.

While Pari has rubbished all such rumours saying that she’s used to such link-ups, she also said that she would never reveal anything about her personal life because she’d like conversation only around her work.

[HQ Pics] Taimur keeps the paparazzi entertained with a tongue-out expression and some cute antics

Taimur is here to make the rest of the day better. This kid is just unbelievably cute. Now that he is growing up, he has got a hang of his paparazzi friends and what they want. The other day he was even imitating them by calling them out the way they do. Today, we have the little gent performing just for his papz friends by doing all kinds of adorable stuff. We also love that other guy who is always so happy to see Taimur. While the little nawab obliges the photographers with this one-act plays, his friend makes sure Tim is looked after well. Yesterday, when the photographers went all "Taimur, Taimur," he behaved like a protective big brother who goes to take care of the commotion and shields his younger sibling. Saif Ali Khan had said on Koffee With Karan season 6 that each picture of Taimur costs Rs 1500. He had also said in an interview, "My wife says, Don t be so cheap. You can t sell your son (Taimur) . I am like, Why not? Let s sell him . Seriously yaar, he is anyway there on the internet. I am just using this platform to say if anybody has any good nappy ads or anything... at a very reasonable price...it s not reasonable, it s quite expensive actually. And, I won t give him the money also. I ll give him some cash for his education, I am already giving it to him. And I ll spend the rest!" Deepika Padukone’s Wedding Saree Designer Dishes Out All The Details Of Her Looks

Deepika Padukone‘s bridal look is something that is now inscribed in our memories like a perfect picture. Her Konkani wedding look, especially, was in focus when the news of its origin came to surface. It was indeed a pleasant surprise for everyone and then the details about her wedding sarees poured in, which just added to the ‘aww‘ moment.

After knowing all the beautiful details of her sarees, we were very keen on knowing more about the origins of them. So, we got in touch with the designer, who was the man behind the gorgeous drapes Deepika donned at her wedding and reception. The conversation with House of Angadi‘s store founder, Mr K. Radharaman who revealed to us further details of her looks.

Here’s what he had to tell us about both her sarees:

What was the design inspiration behind the two sarees worn by Deepika Padukone?

Deepika was personally present and tried out the sarees before they completed their
selection. As is the case with most high profile weddings, the choice of sarees was a
joint decision by members of the family including Deepika herself. While the design
was not customised for Deepika, it is among the rarest and most exclusive of
designs from “Advaya” the label by K Radharaman for The House of Angadi.
The Gandaberunda is symbolic of Deepika’s home state of Karnataka and is a
mythical two headed Bird. The Gandaberunda is part of Indian legend and folklore
and represents prosperity and wisdom – i.e. material and spiritual wealth. It is a
symbol of royalty and heritage and the fact that Deepika wore it for her wedding
and chose a label from Bangalore is a matter of pride.The saree worn for the reception is an Advaya tissue brocade saree and is a pure zari Kanjeevaram. The body is embellished with a beautiful all over ‘Jaal‘ and the Pallav is closely woven. Both designs are part of the Advaya Heritage Series and are limited edition pieces.

On an average, how long does it take to weave sarees like the ones Deepika wore?

The saree worn for the traditional wedding ceremony that took place in Lake Como
took approximately 45 days and the saree worn at the Bangalore reception took
approximately 60 days to make.

What’s the speciality of a Kanjeevaram saree?

The Kanjeevaram has its own unique design vocabulary, construction and techniques
that distinguish it from other genres. The purchase of a Kanjeevaram used to always
be seen as a family ritual especially for weddings and the knowledge of buying the
right saree was passed on from generation to generation. A Kanjeevaram saree is exemplified by its use of real zari. The characteristic lustre and luxurious drape make the Kanjeevaram saree a statement of luxury and high bearing.

What made you change your career path from being an engineer to being a saree designer?

I never imagined that I would end up working as a designer. I was fortunate that my
father agreed to mentor me and teach me the nuances of design and weaving – he
is an institution by himself, and so I learnt from the master. I guess, I always had it in
my blood and my exposure to the family archives kindled my latent interest in the
subject.

We’re still amazed by the fact that these traditional sarees took more than a month to hand weave. That’s why we also understood the importance of the hard work that goes into the making of Kanjeevaram sarees.

Talking about the same, a previously inseparable pair has now turned against each other, we’re talking about none other than Romil Chaudhary and Surbhi Rana. This has led Surbhi or Romil’s once-behen to accuse him of staring at her inappropriately. Meet Edlar Blau, The Legendary Strawberry Man With a Didgeridoo And Crazy Stories

Edlar Blau, better known as The Legendary Strawberry Man is a modern Didgeridoo storyteller. He travels country to country playing the Didgeridoo in a unique style, sharing some crazy stories from his tours and healing people along the way. He’s usually seen at some of the most iconic places, playing on the streets amidst huge crowds and echoes of applause. Edlar will also be speaking at the #TEDxGateway event happening in Mumbai this December. We’re super stoked about all the storytelling that will be happening there. Luckily, we got some questions answered briefly beforehand. So here they are.

Excerpt:

You’re known for having crazy stories from around the world, how did you manage to create such a great collection?

I have been traveling, busking and performing on the streets, in clubs, and festivals around the world for 4 years so that got me to a variety of places. (By the way, India is one of my favorites) While traveling and exploring new places I take my Saxo-Didge everywhere, not just when I have a show but also to climb on a mountain (so I can play from the top),  I tend to get a lot of attention and it attracts all kinds of people (and animals).

I read and listen to a lot of books (especially about psychology and human behavior) and I do my best to stay as mindfully open and accepting as possible and I think that is why whenever I meet people, communication goes deep quickly and with it so does the connection, people open up and crazy things happen.

How did you get attracted to Didgeridoo and when did it all start?

When I was 17, one day at a family dinner on a Friday, my uncle Isaac brought a Didgeridoo and played it, I was amazed by the sound so I took that Didgeridoo and went to the other room to play (while learning, it can be very annoying for people to hear it). My uncle Isaac, who was also my mentor, saw how much I liked the instrument, so he handed me a different, cheap plastic didgeridoo that he had there and said: ”If you learn how to do circular breath (didgeridoo breathing technique), I will buy you a Didgeridoo.

Next Friday I came to dinner with my plastic Didgeridoo circular breathing like a pro, my uncle look at me surprised and I ask him with a cheeky smile: “Where is my Didgeridoo?”. Since then I was locked on it and couldn’t stop playing everywhere I go, I took my Didgeridoo everywhere with me.

You’re also known to have massive healing sessions at the end of your performances. How did that start?

After I learned storytelling in Melbourne, I made enough money for a trip to Nhulunbuy, Arnhemland to visit Djalu Guruwiwi, the spiritual leader of the Yolngu tribe. At that time, I was ambivalent and couldn’t make up my mind if to continue to follow my dream pursuing music and storytelling in Berlin or to go to Israel to reconnect with my ex-girlfriend.

I ended up living with Djalu at his house for a while. Although I used to think to myself that’s not real and can’t really work, I got to watch Djalu use the Didgeridoo to heal others with my own eyes. I told Djalu about my problem. He invited me to sit down, played his didgeridoo on me and did a healing session. After the session, Djalu told me he saw two lines going out from my heart, and that was the reason I couldn’t make up my mind, then he told me that he cut one of them, not specifying which one.

Before I left that session Djalu told me it is time, and that I was ready to go out in the world and spread out the message of healing with my Didgeridoo. Long after that, I realized there was no right way to choose. It is the ambivalence, the inability to decide that was the problem. By cutting one of the lines and not specifying which one, that is exactly what Djalu healed, he cured my ambivalence.

To perform at the streets and have a massive crowd gathering, all present to cheer you. How does that make you feel every time you are at it?

I figured out that because it was so hard for me to communicate as a kid I was always the outsider in school because I always said the wrong thing at the wrong time, I had no example as a child for how to behave in social situations. Because of that, nowadays when I have a show and I manage not just to communicate effectively and successfully but with a big crowd, it fills me up with the greatest pleasure and satisfaction in the world. After having one show I’m psychologically high from it for the week. There is nothing I like more, not food, not even sex.

You’ve achieved love, praise, fandom, and fame through your performances. What next do you have under your sleeve?

After reading all the books I read and seeing so many people while travelling through the world, I noticed that a lot of people are not in touch with their emotions, a lot of people don’t know how to communicate and don’t understand the world and get frustrated. So my biggest passion is to teach people how to communicate better, how to understand and accept others as they are, how to be mindful and know yourself and accept your good and bad.

What message would you give to the upcoming artists that hold you as their idol?

If you manage to connect your spirit mind and body, your wishing thinking and doing, you can have anything you want. Be Mindful: Watch, Listen, Feel, Taste and Smell everything. Question everything, say goodbye to toxic people. Surround yourself with people who you admire. Don’t just read books, read the ones you need. EVERYTHING works in your interest, so relax.

Hina Khan has taken a break from Kasautii Zindagi Kay 2 to work on her new project. She has confirmed that she is doing a Bollywood movie. The fashionista shared a sneak peek from what looks like her new film. Hina is enjoying the village life and took pictures of the amused kids and cows as well. Very cutely, we can see the actress asking the kids their name. We know that she loves children. We can also see Rocky Jaiswal at the spot. She wrote that she is one of the co-producers of the project and put a heart emoji. Hina is on a roll after Bigg Boss 11. She is doing Kasautii Zindagi Kay 2, a film and buzz is that Ekta Kapoor may rope her for another project pretty soon. Hina and Rocky also had plans to float their own production company and we wonder if the film is their first project together.

After Priyanka Chopra & Nick Jonas, This Bollywood Wedding Will Take Place at Jodhpur’s Umaid Bhawan Palace

Like everywhere else in India, it is the wedding season in Bollywood too! After Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone‘s wedding, the festivities of Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas‘ marriage have begun. A puja was held today at PeeCee’s Mumbai residence and then the couple will be heading to Jodhpur, Rajasthan for the sangeet, mehendi and the main ceremony. The lovebirds will be tying the knot in Umaid Bhawan Palace, Jodhpur on 2nd December. Post their wedding, there is another Bollywood wedding that will take place at the palace. It is veteran Bollywood actor Kulbushan Kharbanda‘s daughter’s wedding.

Shruti Kharbanda and her longtime boyfriend Rohit Navale will be tying the knot on 17th December at Umaid Bhawan Palace.

1. Avoid Alcohol

You really don’t want that excess bloat followed by a hangover weeks before your wedding, trust me. Not only that, it contains sugar and a lot of calories you surely can avoid.

2. Say No To New Products

Your wedding is too close for you to change your routine. Especially your skin and hair. You don’t know how your body will react to new products so please stick to your daily routine without any changes.

3. Reduce Spice Consumption

Spicy food like pickles, sauces or chili powder can make you break out in zits you really can’t afford RN. So, try to opt for lesser spicy food until the big day.

4. Quit Smoking

Smoking will not only reduce your stamina but also make your skin look tired. If you want your skin to maintain that glow, quit smoking (in fact for good).

5. Stop Eating Out

No matter how healthy that salad seems, avoid it eating from a restaurant. Since these veggies are raw, you don’t know how clean (or not) they are.

6. Stay Away From Salt And Soda

Salty food and sodas might make you bloat and that’s the last thing you wanna feel.

7. Fried food and chocolate

Excess oil or binging on chocolate can make you break out. And that’s a risk you shouldn’t take so close to the wedding.

And while these are factors one can control, be sure to always keep away from long nights—don’t exhaust yourself but staying up late hours. Instead, get as much rest as you possibly can.

Try and stay away from factors that stress you out as well. While I know how tough it is to avoid stress actively, just a few days before the wedding, I’m here to tell you to think of quick solutions instead of sulking about a problem. Try to take the high road (even though it seems pretty tough at that time. Believe me, I know!)

While negativity should be avoided in any way whether you’re getting married or not, it should be especially avoided more so when you’re the bride. There are many people who’ll tell you strange things that might put you down. I suggest you stay as far away from them as you can. You really don’t need that kind of negativity before the happiest day of your life.

This basically implies an entire 21-day detox for your mind and body. So, stick to this list and make sure to stay hydrated and positive during this time. And remember, it’s YOUR big day, enjoy the attention and love you’re about to receive in abundance.

Dolly Ki Doli actor Paras Saluja turns producer with Life Behind Bars

Actor Paras Saluja, who featured in Sonam Kapoor-starrer "Dolly Ki Doli", will turn producer with the upcoming movie "Life Behind Bars".

"'Life Behind Bars' will show how the experience of going behind bars changes a person. The movie has a fresh content. Viewers will enjoy watching it," Paras said in a statement.

Paras will also play the lead role.

"The movie will be directed by Ajoy Raman. It will release in April next year under my production house - Icarus Tourism And Media Services Pvt Ltd," he said.

Sarkar director AR Murugadoss refuses to apologize to Tamil Nadu government – all deets inside

Vijay-starrer Sarkar has been embroiled in controversies ever since it was announced by the makers. To start off with, the Tobacco Regulations of Tamil Nadu issued a notice to Sun Pictures, the producers, to not have any posters with Vijay smoking in it. And after the release, director A.R.Murugadoss was slammed by the government of Tamil Nadu for showing the free schemes of the ruling parties in poor light in the film. And now, A.R.Murugadoss has been instructed by the government of Tamil Nadu to tender an unconditional apology to the government for the objectionable scenes in Sarkar. Murugadoss has also been asked to give an undertaking in writing that he will not show any such references in his future films. And reacting to all these, Sarkar director A.R.Murugadoss has refused to apologize for any part of the film and has made his stance clear on the issue. Murugadoss has also said that he will not give any undertaking about his future films and will continue to make films with political references. Murugadoss has also told the Madras High Court, where the plea is being heard, that criticising the schemes of any political party is right to free speech and by asking to tender an apology, he is being denied of his rights. Earlier, political party workers of AIADMK staged a protest in Chennai asking A.R.Murugadoss to tender an apology for showing the free schemes in poor light in his film Sarkar.

The couple arrived with Nick’s brother and soon-to-be sister-in-law Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner. While Priyanka chose to wear a powder blue kurta teamed with straight pants, Nick is wearing a simple baby pink Kurta. After the ceremony, the soon-to-be-wedded couple came out to pose for the shutterbugs as well and they looked as happy as ever!

Priyanka and Nick will have a Sangeet on November 29^th, 2018 but the family changed the venue at the last minute. The couple will host a grand reception for Bollywood in Mumbai few days after the wedding.

And if you are wondering as to who is hosting the series then it is a person who is also a part of Bollywood. Yes, you read it right. Humayoon Shams Khan an Afghanistani-Canadian actor will be hosting the reality show.

Khan is soon going to make his Bollywood debut alongside Sanjay Dutt. The actor will share screen space with Dutt in his upcoming film Torbaaz, wherein the young actor plays a military officer. Interestingly, Dutt has hosted the Indian version of Bigg Boss season 5 and now his co-star will be hosting the Afghanistani version. When we contacted Khan, he revealed that he is indeed taking some hosting lessons from Dutt. "I will try to bring a fair environment, just like how he managed to do in the fifth season. I'm trying to imbibe his boss attitude mixed with the traits of humility. I am excited to bring new content to Afghanistan and put it on the global map," Khan said.

Humayoon, who will also be seen in a Bollywood movie alongside Suniel Shetty, added that he will be constantly in touch with Sanjay Dutt to take tips. Katy Perry mourns the death of her 'realest' friend Angelica Cob-Baehler - view post

Singer Katy Perry is mourning the loss of a close friend who died last week after suffering from cancer for long.

The singer, 34, posted the heartfelt tribute to Angelica "Geli" Cob-Baehler on Instagram Tuesday and explained how bigtime music executive, 47, played an incredibly important role in her career, reports people.com.

"Six days ago, one of my biggest champions and realest friends, Angelica Cob-Baehler moved on from this place," Perry began.

"She was one of the strongest women I have ever known - fighting her cancer like friggin' Rocky, enduring chemo, immunotherapy, a tracheotomy, feeding tubes for months on end, and experimental cancer treatment trials.

"I watched her go through many stages for over a year, but a few things remained constant: her sarcastic/wicked sense of humor, her positive outlook, and the incredible love she had for her family," she added.

Perry and Cob-Baehler have known each other for over a decade. At the start of her career in 2004, Perry had landed with Sony's Columbia Records, according to a 2012 profile by The Hollywood Reporter.

However, after things fell through with them, she ended up signing with Capitol Records thanks to helping of Cob-Baehler who "stole her files" and "brought them to life" at the label, Perry explained.

Cob-Baehler played a massive role in the production of Perry's 2008 album "One of the Boys," which featured her breakthrough hit "I Kissed a Girl," according to Variety. She also helped with the development of Perry's next album "Teenage Dream."

Daisy Shah Summoned To Record A Statement In The Nana Patekar-Tanushree Dutta Case

The #MeToo movement gained momentum in India recently when Tanushree Dutta accused Nana Patekar of sexually harassing her, back in 2008. The actress alleged that during the shoot of Horn OK Please, Nana abused her physically and verbally while filming a song. She filed a complaint against the actor but no action was taken due to the abuse of power in our country.

As per latest reports, Mumbai police is recording the statements of everyone who was present on the sets at the time of the incident. Daisy Shah‘s name has come to the forefront as she was the assistant director of choreographer, Ganesh Acharya when the film was being shot.

A senior police officer confirmed the news to Mid-Day, saying:

We will record statements of everyone present on the sets when the alleged incident took place. Shah has been asked to record her statement at the police station whenever she is comfortable, within a week or two.

Meanwhile, Daisy told News18 that:

I was just an assistant choreographer who knew nothing about what all was happening. I have nothing to say about it. My job over there was only to teach steps. I wasn’t the part of the internal conversation of what was happening and not happening. I was just like a random person who was shooting on that film.

We sincerely hope that the Mumbai police announces a verdict soon enough. This particular incident shouldn’t be brushed under the carpet, like so many other cases in our country.

Footage of Taxiwaala was leaked online months before the release of the film and went viral among young audience in Telugu. People who watched the pirate copy branded the film as a disaster which caused huge damage to the film. However, the makers dared to release the film this month and it turned out to be a hit flick with Vijay Deverakonda continuing his success trend. The footage that was leaked online was without the VF works and post-production process which made way to internet through one of the VFX companies located overseas. Taxiwaala was initially slated to be released in March this year but had to be pushed to a later date owing to leakage of the footage.
