Ever since Janhvi Kapoor made her Bollywood debut opposite Ishaan Khatter in Dhadak, rumour mills are abuzz that the two are reportedly dating each other. However, recently on Karan Johar's chat show, Koffee With Karan 6, when Janhvi shared the couch with bro Arjun, the debutante put all the rumours to rest. During the rapid fire round, when Karan asked Janhvi if she is dating Ishaan, the 21-year-old promptly denied it. At the recently held Kid's Choice Awards, when a media person asked Khatter about Karan quizzing Janhvi on their alleged affair, the actor said, "He didn't joke about it but asked the question on a serious note. He generally puts everyone under the scanner. I spoke to him (about dating Janhvi) on the show. The episode will air soon." Well, Ishaan smartly dodged the question and has left us scratching our heads. Nevertheless, we are now waiting for his Koffee episode to air and know the truth.

Coming to his professional front, it is being reported that the actor will be starring in director Mira Nair's film. During the same event, the actor refused to comment on it and said that he is not in prerogative to make an announcement of his next film.
