The filmmaker tied the knot with Dubai-based real-estate agent Pramita Tanwar. The wedding was an intimate affair and we saw the producer's close friends like Raveena Tandon, Aparshakti Khurrana and Varun Sharma attending the wedding.

The pre-wedding festivities of the couple were attended by Varun Dhawan, Shraddha Kapoor, Kartik Aaryan, Kriti Sanon and Raveena Tandon. Directors, who worked with him like Amar Kaushik (Stree), Homi Adajania (Cocktail) and Mikhil Musale (Made in China) were also seen at the dance party, which was enjoyed to the fullest by all the attendees. Aayush Sharma to star in Mulshi Pattern's Hindi remake backed by Salman Khan

After portraying the role of a lover boy in his debut film, LoveYatri, Aayush Sharma is all ready to experiment with his character choices. The actor will be seen soon in a serious avatar for a film backed by Salman Khan. Khan's production recently acquired the rights of Marathi film, Mulshi Pattern, which released last month. As per a report by Mumbai Mirror, the film is expected to go on the floors by mid- 2019.

Divulging more deets about the project, a source told the tabloid, "Earlier this week, Salman had a meeting with Aayush at his office to discuss this project. They have yet to finalise the director and the hunt is on for the leading lady. Unlike his debut film, LoveYatri, which was a love story, this one will see Aayush in a serious avatar. He will start training in action soon." Talking about the Marathi version, it was based on the real incidents which took placed in Mulshi Taluka. The film featuring Om Bhutkar in the lead role revolved around the story of two farmers turning to petty crimes out of poverty and frustration. Mulshi Pattern was directed by Pravin Tarde and featured actors like Mahesh Manjrekar, Upendra Limye and Mohan Joshi as well.

Apart from Mulshi Pattern's Hindi remake, Aayush is said to be also featuring alongside Sanjay Dutt in a film which is supposedly inspired by the underworld.

Nani and Dulquer Salmaan to join hands for a Telugu multi-starrer? Here's what we know

It s going to be a galore of multi-starrers in South Indian cinema this year which may spill over to the next year as well. The NTR biopic, Yatra and F2: Fun & Frustration are some of the big-ticket films lined up in the upcoming season. And looks like there is another one that may get added to this long list. News has it that Nani and Dulquer Salmaan will soon join hands for a multi-starrer in Telugu. Reports reveal that this unannounced film will be directed by Sammohanam director Mohan Krishna Indraganti. Sources also reveal that the project will be bankrolled by eminent producer Dil Raju. According to emerging reports, the film may go on the floors after Nani and Dulquer Salmaan wrap up their ongoing ventures.

Mohan Krishna Indraganti is known for slice-of-life films like Ashta Chamma, Gentleman and Golkonda High School. Mohan last directed Sammohanam which featured Sudheer Babu and Aditi Rao Hydari in lead roles.

Nani is currently shooting for Jersey which is being directed by Gowtam Tinnanuri who shot to fame with Malli Raava. Jersey stars Kannada actress Shraddha Srinath is the leading lady and will mark her debut in Telugu cinema with the film. Nani, after Jersey, will commence work on his yet-untitled film with director Vikram K Kumar which was announced recently.

On the other hand, Dulquer Salmaan recently kicked off his Tamil film Vaan which was launched in Chennai recently. The film will be directed by Ra Karthik and the makers are yet to announce the female lead actress for it.

Purab Kohli thinks web series can keep people engaged for longer time

Actor Purab Kohli will soon be seen in the second season of web series "It's Not That Simple". He says content and cost wise, web shows are more experimental than movies but he loves doing both.

"The good thing about web series is that it is the current trend. Many people like to watch it. It keeps you engaged for a longer period of time. You follow stories, it can be more fleshed out and told extensively," Purab told IANS in an email interview.

"Web shows are more experimental in their content and cost wise. On the other hand, I love doing films. Both of them are very engaging," he added.

Directed by Danish Aslam, the second edition of Voot Original web series "It's Not That Simple" also features Swara Bhasker and Sumeet Vyas. Swara plays Meera - confident, ambitious and a strong woman who becomes the mouthpiece of a modern woman who compels you to ask - Does the sex matter?

"The main pointers for me were that Meera's character is moving forward so that straight away makes for a good second season and the show is moving in a direction. The character is growing and expanding itself. I mean finding more ground to head on so that itself is exciting," said Purab.

"For me, the character Angad was very interesting. He is blatant, straightforward and at the same time very honest and he comes across as someone who you don't like in the beginning but once you see how honest and straightforward he is of what he wants and what he says, I think. It's quite refreshing to see someone like that," added the "Rock On!!" actor.

On the show's second season, he shared: "I think the first season dealt with breaking away and now the second season is where she (Meera) is finding new ground, she's discovering new ground and finding a new self. Finding herself out of her marriage and traditional definitions of Meera, she is now trying to find new Meera.

"That Meera wants to achieve and be loved. I think that is the aspect people should look out for and of course, the introduction of mainly two known male characters played by Sumeet and me. Both are very interesting characters."

Purab had also starred in the American science fiction drama web series "Sense8".

Talking about the difference between shooting for an Indian web show and an American one, he pointed out: "Foreign productions function differently than Indian productions. The training is different. Outplay of the role is different, also the budgets are massively different so, it's not fair to even compare."

EXCLUSIVE! 'Soorma' Sandeep Singh joins MTV Roadies; Neha Dhupia's newborn daughter to also make her TV debut with the show

MTV's popular youth reality show, Roadies is all set to return with the 16th season. However, this year is going to be far different from the earlier fifteen editions. The theme of the year is all about hailing real-life heroes by giving them a chance to be a part of the adventure series. And following the theme of the season, there is going to be a change in the panel of gang leaders. Don't worry, none of your favorite gang leaders are getting replaced. In fact, there is going to be an addition in the list. Till last season, the gang leaders were Prince Narula, Nikhil Chinnapa, Neha Dhupia and Raftaar. BollywoodLife has exclusively learnt that there is going to be a new gang leader introduced this year. And this gang leader is someone who is a real-life hero. We have confirmed reports that the ex-captain of the Indian national hockey team, Sandeep Singh, has been brought on board as the fifth gang leader.

"The makers wanted a real-life hero who has struggled and inspired many," a source close to the development has revealed. When we dug deeper we found that the team was in talks with several heroic personalities including Arunima Sinha, who is the first female amputee to climb Mount Everest. "Arunima was one of the top contenders since her story was very inspiring. However, there were certain budget issues that cropped up. Things fell in place with Sandeep and he was signed just yesterday," the source adds.

Interestingly, early this year, a biopic on Sandeep's life was made featuring Diljit Dosanjh in the lead. And with Roadies, the Arjuna Award winner will make his TV debut, early next year.

Meanwhile, there have been several reports that Neha Dhupia, who recently embraced motherhood, would be replaced on the show by Roadies alumni Bani J. However, our source confirms that Dhupia isn't going anywhere. "The actress didn't shy away from the camera when she had a baby bump, do you think she won't be ready for the show, which still has a month to go on the floor? In fact, the channel has some big plans with the actress, including making her baby girl's TV debut," the insider reasserts.

Farhan Akhtar happy with the kind of appreciation received for Mirzapur; confirms working on second season

Producer Farhan Akhtar is feeling happy as his last production venture "Mirzapur" has been appreciated by the audience. He has revealed that makers of the show have already started working for the second season of the show.

Farhan interacted with the media at the success party of "Mirzapur" along with Rasika Dugal, Elli AvRam, Pankaj Tripathi, Anangsha Biswas, Richa Tripathi, Shriya Pilgaonkar and Ali Fazal on Wednesday in Mumbai.

"Mirzapur", backed by Excel Entertainment, revolves around drugs, guns, and lawlessness. It also depicts gang rivalry and crime in the Purvanchal region of Uttar Pradesh.

Farhan said: "I am feeling really happy. It's the second show which we have created with Amazon Prime Video. Our earlier collaboration 'Inside Edge' was a successful web series and now 'Mirzapur' is getting more success than that. So it is a really nice thing and we are here to celebrate."

Asked if they have planned to create the second season of "Mirzapur", he said: "Yes, of course. At the end of the show, viewers might have got an idea that there is scope for season 2. So, we are working on that. Hopefully, very soon we will start shooting for it."

Shraddha Kapoor, Varun Dhawan, Kriti Sanon & Others Join Dinesh Vijan’s Starlit Pre-Wedding Bash

‘Haider’ Actor Saqib Bilal Killed In An Encounter

Saqib Bilal, who had a brief role in the Bollywood film Haider, has been killed in an encounter in Mujgund, on the outskirts of Srinagar. On 9th December, Saqib and another boy from class 9 were killed after an 18-hour gun battle with security forces, as per a report in Hindustan Times. The two teenagers had left their homes in August and joined the militants immediately after they disappeared, the report stated.

Asim Aijaz, Bilal’s maternal uncle, spoke to HT and revealed that he was interested in acting. He also mentioned about his role in the Vishal Bhardwaj directorial.

Mr. Aijz said:

Smita Patil was one of the finest actors that Indian cinema had. The actress did more than 80 Hindi and Marathi films during her film career. She entered Bollywood with Shyam Benegal s Charandas Chor and left a mark unlike anyone else. Apart from films, she is was known as a feminist too. She was involved in the advancement of women's issues and gave her endorsement to films which sought to explore the role of women in a traditional Indian society. The late actress also won the Padma Shri Award. Smita s last performance as the feisty Sonbai in Mirch Masala was one of the greatest that she delivered. Chris Pratt, Tom Holland, Julia Louis-Dreyfus and Octavia Spencer to lend their voices for Pixar’s Onward

Stars Chris Pratt, Tom Holland, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, and Octavia Spencer are leading the voice cast for "Onward", Pixar's next original movie. Directed by Dan Scanlon and produced by Kori Rae, the film by Pixar Animation Studios is slated for theaters on March 6, 2020, reports variety.com.

Pixar had previously referred to the film as an untitled suburban fantasy. Scanlon, who helmed 2013's "Monsters University" for Pixar, has re-teamed with producer Kori Rae, who also produced "Monsters University".

"Onward" follows two teenage elf brothers who embark on an extraordinary quest to discover if there is still magic left in the world.

Scanlon, who was raised in Michigan, said the film's story is driven by his own life. He was 1 and his brother was 3 when their father passed away.

"At Pixar, we try to create stories that come from some kind of personal truth," Scanlon said. "This film was inspired by my own relationship with my brother."

As per the latest reports, the star is expected to feature in a gangster film alongside Sanjay Dutt. The film will loosely be inspired by the underworld and an era of its rise and fall. Jennifer Lopez says she couldn’t think of anyone but Milo Ventimiglia as her co-star for Second Act

Hollywood diva Jennifer Lopez says actor Milo Ventimiglia was her first choice for the character of Trey in "Second Act", and that it was a pleasure to work with him. In the film, which revolves around the story of Maya, a deserving but undervalued woman, Lopez portrays an ambitious character who gets a chance to prove that street smarts are as good as book smarts in the real world, if not better.

When she was doing a reading of the script, Lopez knew exactly who she would like to play her love interest in the film.

"I only saw Milo Ventimiglia for Trey," the actress said in a statement.

The project also stars Kiara Advani as the leading lady while veteran Tamil actor Prashanth will be seen in a key role. The marriage was conducted as per South Indian rituals. While Natalie looked lovely in a white and red saree with gold jewellery, Ram was in traditional wear. Rannvijay Singha who treats Raghu as a brother shared the picture and it was all hearts. They got engaged in November and had announced that a December wedding is on the cards. Soon after, he declared his relationship with Natalie and also shared that Sugandha was the first one to know about them and she even warned Raghu to not repeat the mistakes that he has done earlier. Raghu and Natalie's relationship, on the other hand, started two months after he got a divorce. He told Mumbai Mirror earlier this year that he was head over heels in love with Natalie. Meanwhile, Karthi has kicked off his next film which will be directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj who shot to fame with Maanagaram. This yet-untitled film was launched officially in Chennai yesterday and the event was attended by lead actor Karthi as well. The film will be produced by S.R. Prabhu under the banner of Dream Warriro Pictures. S.R. Prabhu will also be producing Karthi s brother Suriya s NGK.

Karthi was last seen in Kadaikutty Singam which had the actor playing a farmer in a rural backdrop. Directed by Pandiraj, the film also starred Sayyeshaa in the other lead role. The film had a decent run and was declared a hit in rural centres. Kadaikutty Singam was also dubbed into Telugu as Chinna Babu and had a decent run in the Telugu states as well. Karthi has been having a great run at the box office with his recent films doing very well. The only project in his previous five releases that couldn t live up to the expectations of the audience was Kaatru Veliyidai which was directed by Mani Ratnam.

Ruby Rose rushed to hospital after silicon earplug gets stuck in her ear - view pics

Model-actress Ruby Rose was rushed to a hospital after a silicon earplug got stuck in her ear. The 32-year-old, who is filming on location in Hungary, took to Instagram on Wednesday to tell fans about it, reports dailymail.co.uk. She wrote: "I've had a couple co-stars end up in the hospital because of earplugs from films with gunfire and other loud noises (that) ended up being lodged in their ear canals. I always made fun of them... I will never make fun of them again!"

Rose also shared footage of herself walking into the hospital, which she captioned: "I have a silicon ear plug inside my damn brain and I think this is the scariest hospital I've ever seen."

She later posted a photograph of herself in the empty emergency room, alongside which she wrote: "If you never see me again... I hope my organs went to wonderful people."

The Australian star continued to pass time by sharing another image of a rather eerie-looking bathroom and an empty hospital bed.

 

Finally, the earplug was successfully removed and she was able to leave the hospital. She explained after the ordeal: "It took over an hour, three doctors and a lot of screaming, crying and fainting to remove what had become glue around my ear drum - but they did it!"

 

It was then time for Rose to see the doctor, and she uploaded yet another short clip of herself waiting patiently in the office.

"Now, to fix my TV... it doesn't seem to have sound working," she added, jokingly.

Leonardo DiCaprio FORCED to return the Oscar award but it’s not what you think

After a slew of brilliant performances and numerous Oscar snubs, Leonardo DiCaprio was awarded with an Oscar in the Best Actor in a Leading Role category for his performance in The Revenant. He was nominated for five Oscars a Best Supporting Actor nomination, thrice for for Best Actor, and one nomination was courtesy his role as the producer of The Wolf of Wall Street, which was nominated for Best Picture. But he was destined to win the Best Actor award in 2016. Fans rejoiced that the actor was finally awarded his own Academy Award. But now, the Academy Award winner has been ordered by federal investigators to return an Oscar he has and not exactly the one he won.

Not many are aware that Leo has another Oscar in his possession. As per New York Times, the actor has the Oscar which was won by Marlon Brando in 1954 for his performance in On the Waterfront. The actor received the award from the Malaysian financier Jho Low. The previous owner is being investigated for alleged fraud and DiCaprio has been asked to surrender the gifts he received from Low.

The report states that, apart from the Oscar, DiCaprio also received Pablo Picasso and Jean-Michel Basquiat artworks. The Oscar got lost from Brando s home and eventually bought for $600,000 (Rs 4.3 crore) by Low.

While Low paid big bucks for the Oscar, a spokeswoman for the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences told the international outlet that they can buy the statue back from the government for $1 after the investigation is complete.

Brando hasn t given importance to Oscars. The actor refused to accept the Oscars for Vito Corleone in The Godfather. Fans would remember he sent a Native American woman to receive it.

Jeffrey Dean Morgan to return as John Winchester in Supernatural to celebrate its 300th episode

Actor Jeffrey Dean Morgan is making a return to "Supernatural" to help celebrate the show's milestone of 300 episodes, 12 seasons since he was last seen on the series. John Winchester (Morgan), the father of Sam (played by actor Jared Padalecki) and Dean (played by actor Jensen Ackles) was killed back in season two, saving Dean's life in the process.

While Morgan's voice was heard in season three, he hasn't appeared on the series in all the years since, and now he is finally coming back, reports eonline.com.

Top 10 shows (Urban)

Zee TV's Kundali Bhagya took the top place with 8.2 million impressions. It was followed by Naagin 3 at 8 million impressions viewership. The prime-time show is facing stiff competition from Indian Idol and Dance Plus 4. Star Plus's Kullfi Kumar Bajewala was at the third place. Kumkum Bhagya has managed to retain its audience with the twists and increased villainy of Aaliya who does not want Abhi (Shabbir Ahluwalia) and Pragya (Sriti Jha) to unite. It got 7.4 million impressions viewership. STAR Bharat's Radha Krishn is undoubtedly one of the best shows to come out this year with its performances and production values. It was on the fifth place with 6.6 million impressions viewership. Zee TV's Tujhse Hai Raabta was on the sixth place. It got 6.2 million impressions viewership. Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah and Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai took the seventh and eight spot. Indian Idol became at the highest-rated non-fiction show with 6.1 million impressions viewership. The list was completed by Guddan Tumse Na Ho Payega at 5.9 million impressions viewership.

Zee Anmol's Kumkum Bhagya was the No.1 show with 13.9 million impressions viewership. It was followed by Zee TV's Kundali Bhagya at 13.1 million impressions viewership. The Dheeraj Dhoopar - Shraddha Arya - Manit Joura show has seen a great increase overall, which explains the dip of Naagin 3 (12.5mn). Radhakrishn was on the fourth place with 12.4 million impressions viewership. Kumkum Bhagya was on the fifth place followed by Kullfi Kumar Bajewala (10 mn). Tujhse Hai Raabta got 10.9 million impressions viewership followed by Guddan Tumse Naa Ho Payega at 10.4 million impressions viewership. Zee Anmol's Mahek and STAR Bharat's Nimki Mukhiya completed the list.

Zee Anmol, STAR Plus, STAR Bharat, Zee TV, STAR Utsav, Colors, Sony PAL, Sony Entertainment Television, Dangal TV were the channels that won the audience.

Will & Grace actress Megan Mullally to host 2019 SAG Awards

Actress Megan Mullally will host the 2019 Screen Actors Guild (SAG) Awards. The "Will & Grace" actress will host the 25th edition of the gala on January 27, 2019, at the Shrine Auditorium here, reported variety.com.

Mullally won two Primetime Emmy Awards for supporting actress in a comedy series in 2000 and 2006, along with four SAG Awards for her role as Karen Walker in "Will & Grace".

A source claims that Justin is reaching out to the singer, who has recently returned from rehab after taking treatment for her breakdown. The insider suggests that Justin is blaming himself for Selena s recent rehab visit and is worried about her health. He s reaching out to Selena just to make sure she s in a better place now.

However, a source told E! News a few days ago that Justin and Selena are not in touch anymore. Justin and Selena are not in touch ... him hearing the news about Selena definitely upsets him. He feels sad and remorse for Selena and knows how it is to go through a difficult time, the source said.

Justin also feels guilty. He wants to help everyone. He truly wants Selena to be happy, and it's upsetting to know she's battling health issues, the insider added. As for the Back To You singer, Selena is feeling better. She is getting the help she needs, the source shared.

She was a woman soldier in Rani Laxmibai s army, however, she eventually turned advisor to the Queen. Jhalkari Bai is still worshipped by many. On her 188th birth anniversary, Ankita Lokhande had opened up about the warrior's deeds and said, "Her heroism and sacrifices for the society are unsung but this woman was one of the most important factors in the battle of Jhansi," in her long Instagram post. With Cheat India, Emraan Hashmi hopes to bring about the much needed change in Indian educational system

Actor Emraan Hashmi, who is gearing up for his forthcoming release "Cheat India", has said every student and parent must watch it as it brings to the fore the irregularities present in our education system. Emraan was interacting with the media during the promotion of the film on Wednesday when he said everyone should know what is "happening in our system. It is our plea as the makers of the film that, we bring about changes in our education system as soon as possible so that, we can have a progressive outlook."

"It is based on our faulty and fractured education system and we all have been affected by that, be it our parents or me, as I am the parent of a child.

"In this education system, we emphasise a lot on rote learning which doesn't have any benefit in the real and practical world.

"Apart from that our education system is being weakened by a lot of middlemen, scamsters and fraudsters."

In the film, Emraan plays Rakesh, who is heading a nexus where he gives merit-seats to not deserving students to earn money.

Talking about his character, Emraan said: "Rakesh is brought up in Jhansi (Uttar Pradesh). He has failed twice in medical exams. At some point, he also wanted to become a singer and after that, he wanted to become a doctor but he didn't succeed.

"He has a certain kind of anger against the system but wanted to be successful. So, he hacks the system giving merit seats to not deserving students to earn money," he said.

Emraan also turned producer with "Cheat India". "I wanted to participate in this filmmaking process as much as possible.

"As a producer, I wanted to be part of the scripting process, part of the music composition process, part of its shoot, part of editing and its ultimate release as I have been very passionate about these things," the actor said.

"Cheat India" is written and directed by Soumik Sen. It features Emraan Hashmi and Shreya Dhanwanthary in the lead roles. The film is scheduled for a January 25, 2019 release.

If you have been MIA from social media (how?), the entire country witnessed the great Indian wedding of the century when Isha Ambani tied the knot with Anand Piramal at Antilia. A lot of glam and glitter were trademarked by the Ambani clan and to say that it was start-studded will be putting it modestly. That's right, the entire Bollywood was in attendance, looking like million bucks and boy, were we awestruck. Needless to say, we saw a lot of note-worthy #OOTD picks and #FashionGoals. From Kareena Kapoor Khan to Alia Bhatt, our favourite celebs posed like the star they are and we were taking it all in. But we would be lying if we say that, that's all we saw. Amidst all the blingy lehengas and shararas, we did cringe and sigh at a few sightings and it was worth listing but for the wrong seasons. Yep, there were a few fashion offenders who failed to stand out during all the shaadi shenanigans and we thought you'd like to know? Thought so. To start with, Sonam Kapoor Ahuja's customised 'Everything is ak - ok' fuschia lehenga was too much in the face. While we did like sister Rhea Kapoor's version of the same earlier, this monotone rendition was a big no! Even Raveena Tandon wore a gaudy blue lehenga and our eyes are bearing the brunt of it. Talking about blue, star wife Kiran Rao also wore the colour but we are still trying to figure out what the outfit was. Same goes for Geeta Basra who wore a darker shade and left us aghast. Enough about the ladies though. Shahid Kapoor also tried to do 'of-the-box' with a floral kurta in bronze but it fell flat. Have a dekko!
