Singer-actor Diljit Dosanjh says his new track titled "Jind Mahi" is a special love ballad.
"I feel lucky that my music has been loved by so many people and 'Jind Mahi' is a special love ballad. The entire team behind the song is extremely talented and the video was shot in London," Diljit said in a statement.
The song's video stars actress Banita Sandhu of "October" fame alongside him.
"I'm thankful to Banita to have agreed to be a part of the video. She is a talented young girl and she fits in perfectly well in the song," said Diljit.
It was shot in London earlier this year and the music was given by Manni Sandhu.
The "Do you know" singer is a popular name in Punjabi and Hindi film industries. He was last seen in the Bollywood film "Soorma", which released in July this year.

The movie, John had earlier told IANS, is a story of late Indian footballer Sibdas Bhaduri, who captained Mohun Bagan in the historic 1911 IFA Shield final when they defeated the East Yorkshire Regiment to become the maiden Asian team to emerge victorious in the competition.

Remember the brief phase when Kajol and Karan Johar broke their friendship spanning 2 decades and were not BFFs anymore?! It happened around Diwali 2016 when KJo’s Ae Dil Hai Mushkil released alongside Kajol’s husband, Ajay Devgn‘s Shivaay. Actor-filmmaker Farhan Akhtar on Sunday -- the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women -- launched a short film "She", which takes a look at the various forms of violence perpetrated against women. He says a safer environment for women will be possible when men change their mentality and behavior.
Farhan's MARD (Men Against Rape and Discrimination), filmmaker Feroz Abbas Khan and Population Foundation of India (PFI) jointly released the three-minute short "She" online.
"For women to feel safe in our society, it is important that men change their mentality and behavior. This short film 'She' gives the other perspective - of how ignorant men are about this violence. It is imperative that men understand the humiliation that women go through. Only then will they truly make an effort to change," Farhan said in a statement.
Khan, the film's creative lead, added: "Men feel entitled to perpetuate violence against women. They feel it is their right. Director Ranjeeta Kaur exposes that entitlement in 'She'."
PFI Executive Director Poonam Muttreja said: "Though more women are now finding the courage to speak out and report abuse, a large part of society still normalizes such crimes until it reaches the point of really heinous forms of violence. Men need to recognize that the everyday forms of violence and violation faced by women are no less harmful."

Model Miranda Kerr says being a mother is the most rewarding thing and she doesn't mind having a "mum-bod".
The former Victoria's Secret Angel opened up to Marie Claire Australia about motherhood, reports eonline.com. Kerr and her husband Evan Spiegel welcomed their first child together in May: a son named Hart.
She also has a seven-year-old son named Flynn Christopher Bloom, whom she had with her former husband Orlando Bloom.
She said: "It's such a luxury to be able to be settled, to be in one place and have routines."
She also said being a mother is "the most rewarding thing". Kerr is also fully welcoming her post-baby body. She said: "I've got a mum-bod and it's fine."
She also discussed the value in taking time for self-care and treating one's body right, especially after having a child.
She added: "It's really important as women that we're gentle with ourselves and don't feel like we have to snap back into shape after a baby."
Kerr also doesn't really care that her chiseled abs aren't fully visible at the moment. "I don't mind," she said. "It's all part of it. I took nine months well, 10 months to grow a beautiful child and it might take 10 months to feel good in a swimsuit again. Or longer. Or never!"

Take That frontman Gary Barlow is set to quit music for a year.
The singer reveals he is planning a sabbatical so that he can "live a bit" rather than working 24/7, reports mirror.co.uk.
Barlow said: "I am working so hard because I am planning a year off. A sabbatical. The last five years I have been working harder because I want to earn myself some serious time off. It might only be six months in reality, but there's stuff I want to do."
"We don't know what is around the corner for any of us - I want to do it now. Things I want to do other than music that I've never had a chance to do."
The star, who is gearing up for Take That's Greatest Hits tour next year, added: "I feel like I am on the run the whole time. I am always running. I want to live a bit.

Actor Farhan Akhtar says he feels a sense of guilt for not being aware of the indecent behavior of his cousin Sajid Khan, who has been accused of sexual harassment by several women. Sajid was accused of sexual harassment by two women -- actor Saloni Chopra and a journalist, following which he stepped down as the director of Housefull 4.
When the allegations had surfaced, Farhan, who has been a vocal supporter of #MeToo movement, was one of the first celebrities to react and had termed them as shocking. Every time something like this has happened in the public domain, I ve been very vocal with my opinion. When it came to someone within my family, I felt silence on that front would be very, very hypocritical, Farhan said.
So pretty much on the first day when three women came out and spoke, I felt it was important for me to speak out. Sajid, being my brother, I need to now work with him, try to figure out how he can see this thing through and how it is that he can make the women who have been affected by his actions, somehow feel better, he added.
The actor was in conversation with journalist Barkha Dutt at We The Women event here. When Barkha said an apology alone would not suffice as the sexual violation is a crime, Farhan said, Absolutely. Whether stuff like this needs to go into the ambit of the court is for them to decide. These are the things he (Sajid) has to face. To start with apologizing is a big step. To say I am sorry about what I did is a big step, it can make a person feel a lot better, he added.
Farhan said when he first heard about the accusations against his cousin, he had conflicting emotions. It was a surprise, disappointment and strangely because when it s a member of your family, you also feel a certain level of guilt. It s happened to all of us in the past when we hear something like this and say but how come someone so close to him didn t know. The truth is I didn t. If I did know I would ve spoken about it way before the story broke. There was this certain guilt about that, how could this be going on and I had no idea. So there were conflicted emotions, he said.
Farhan feels he wishes he had known about Sajid s behavior and said three women spoke to him privately, accusing the filmmaker of the same. There were two-three women who got in touch with me privately to say listen you should know whatever is being said is true and he has behaved in a similar way with us as well. These are the people I ve known for 12, 15, 20 years and meet them very often but nobody ever mentioned this to me. I asked them why didn t you ever tell me? I have been doing something with MARD for the last five years, I wouldn t have been on his side if you had brought it to my attention but somehow they weren t comfortable to speak about it, he said.
But the actor says it is ultimately a woman s decision when she wants to come out and tell her story and she should be given that environment and space. If someone has behaved badly with a woman and she hasn t spoken about it for ten, 20 or 30 years, it s her prerogative when she wants to speak. Even if someone tells me privately, like these three women, I cannot take their names. Can I go to the public with that? I can t because she will be answerable then for the rest of her life and maybe she first wants to be. It s a woman s agency, he added. Karan Johar’s celebrity chat show, Koffee With Karan is an experience we all sit and enjoy. The celebrity guests on the show often share anecdotes about them or their friends which makes for an interesting watch. We don’t really get to see actors share fun stories about their lives otherwise. The guests on this Sunday’s episode were Arjun Kapoor and his sister Janhvi Kapoor and we got an insight on the kind of relationship they share. Besides that, we also got to know that Arjun will never go to Ranbir Kapoor for a relationship advice!
During the rapid fire round, Karan asked Arjun who would he go to for relationship advice between Varun Dhawan and Ranveer Singh. Pat came Arjun’s reply, “Varun and Ranveer for relationship advice? Are you mad?”. He then added, “Ranbir once gave me relationship advice and I ended that relationship the next day. So I don’ think this community of actors is very good at giving advice to each other at all.”
Arjun then went on to narrate an incident which we don’t think he will ever forget!
Recalling the episode, Arjun said,
It was one of Ranbir’s finest performances and considering he’s done Barfi you can imagine. He gave me a take where we were standing on the balcony. He looked into the darkness and he said, ‘If you’re not happy, just let go.’ It was like an Imtiaz Ali film moment. I had an epiphany. And I looked at my phone and I sent a message to her saying, ‘We have to talk.’ And the next day I ended it.
Karan then asked Arjun if he regretted taking the step, to which Arjun said,
I regretted it after about seven days but I had gone too deep into that breakup to go back. You shouldn’t take any relationship advice from Ranbir Kapoor.

In fact, it looks like it's time for another celebration, a birthday bash and the bday boy is none other than Mira's father who turned 60 today! The proud daughter even took to Instagram to wish her old man with adorable pictures from her wedding day. Tamil superstar Thala Ajith, who is currently busy in promoting his upcoming venture Viswasam is all to kickstart the shooting of his next, which is tentatively titled Thala 59. The latest reports suggest that, it'll be the remake of Amitabh Bachchan and Taapsee Pannu starrer Pink, where the Vedalama star will portray Big B's character. While the original venture was helmed by Aniruddha Roy Chowdhury, the remake will be directed by Vinoth and Boney Kapoor will bankroll it. Though the official confirmation about the same has not been announced yet.
Shoojit Sircar, the producer of the film confirmed the news of Tamil remake and told TOI, Yes, Pink is being remade in Tamil. I don t think I will direct it, but the team has said that they will show the film to me once it s ready. As much as I love what Aniruddha did with Pink, I respect the fact that the makers in Tamil want to have their own interpretation of the story. Talking about Viswasam, it will bring Ajith and Nayanthara together after more than five years. It marks the fourth collaboration between Ajith and director Siva after crackling hits like Vedhalam, Veeram and Vivegam. The film also stars Vivekh, Thambi Ramaiah, Yogi Babu, Bose Venkat and Kovai Sarala in pivotal roles. Finally, the day will be here! 2.0 has been on people's must-watch list since it was announced. For a year, the film, starring Akshay Kumar, Rajinikanth and Amy Jackson, struggled to find a release date that could ensure maximum gains. From Diwali 2017 to Diwali 2018, 2.0 has only been postponed. But eventually, to the relief of its fans, the makers made peace with November 29, a non-festival date. Every producer wants their film to release on a holiday weekend because that ensures maximum income but it's not necessarily true. The film needs to have merit too; even Diwali couldn't save Thugs Of Hindostan, you see. 2.0 is one of the most expensive films of Indian Cinema and also a sequel to the 2010 film Robot. Chitti had made many fans then and thus, makers are confident this film has the potential to go bigger. Roping in Akshay Kumar as villain also seems like a strategy to involve North Indian audience more than the usual. Dadasaheb Award Phalke Awardee K Balachander's wife Rajam Balachander passed away early morning in Chennai. She was 82 and was known for producing many award-winning films like Agni Sakshi, Achamillai Achamillai, Sindhu Bhairavi, Roja, Jathi Malli under the banner of Kavithalayaa productions, which was founded by her husband. Apart from tamil films, K Balachander has also made Hindi films like Aaina, Ek Duje Ke Liye and Zara Si Zindagi, which made a mark in the industry.
Earlier this year, the news broke out that the the flat of the filmmaker and office of Kavithalalayaa productions will be auctioned by the key people, post which the spokesperson of the production released an statement, which read, KB s house and office have not been pledged. Like any other business, our production house too took a loan. A substantial amount has been repaid and a process of negotiation for a one-time settlement is underway for the rest. Before these negotiations could be concluded, the bank in accordance with their procedures, issued a notice of auction in one of the dailies, which in turn led to these rumours."
