Vicky Kaushal is all set to make January 2019 an affair to remember. The actor, who gave three memorable performances in 2018 courtesy Sanju, Manmarziyaan and Lust Stories, is all set to get the 2019 s ball rolling at the box office with Uri: The Surgical Strike. The promos have already generated a good buzz, with fans cannot stop raving about how different Vicky is looking in his new look. However, the actor has now revealed that it wasn t easy for him to beef up for the role. The actor shared a new video showcasing his preparation for the role and revealed he has a beautiful problem which was not good for the role.
The actor elaborated about his training for the role and shared that since he cannot put of weight easily, he had a lot of trouble putting on 15 kilos for the role. However, his trainer helped him to achieve the body needed for the role. The actor also revealed that he underwent a boot camp, did vigorous training and also met army personnel to prepare for the role.
In the caption, the actor wrote, A glimpse into my prep for URI. Not just me... me, along with a team of 20 other wonderful actors who gave their everything to the film. Big shout out to all my coactors, trainers and coaches...

Uri is based on the surgical attacks which took place in 2016. The movie sees Vicky play an army official for the first time. The actor will be seen sharing screen space with Yami Gautham in the movie. Uri is set to release on January 11.
