There is no stopping Ranveer Singh's Simmba at the box office. The film is going roaring in the moolah at the box office. Simmba made Rs 9.02 crore on Friday taking the domestic business to Rs 159.83 crore. The film will easily enter into the Rs 200 crore mark this weekend. Trade expert Taran Adarsh has written that the film will cross Rs 175 crore mark in week two itself. The film has already made a record for filmmaker Rohit Shetty. He has delivered his eighth 100 crore film with this one. Simmba has succeeded in a year when hatke and content-driven films have rocked the box office with some exceptions like Judwaa. It is proof that a solid masala entertainer still has the potential to do great business. After Bajirao Mastani, Padmaavat and Ram Leela, this is another 100 crore plus film for Ranveer Singh cementing his place as Bollywood's reigning young superstar.

Ranveer took to Instagram to cheer his RO-BRO, director Rohit Shetty for his stupendous run at the box office. The two have developed a great bond and we won't be shocked if a sequel is on the cards as well.
The Indian audience overseas is also enjoying the film. It is outstanding there collecting $ 8.408 million at the box office. Ranveer Singh plays the role of Inspector Sangram Bhalerao in the film. He is a corrupt cop who has a change of heart after the rape and murder of a girl. The action sequences, Ranveer's comic timing and the surprise cameo by Ajay Devgn made the audience cheer and whistle. Sara Ali Khan has also got two back-to-back successes with Kedarnath and Simmba.
