She s expressed her interest in Kartik Aaryan on Koffee With Karan with Saif Ali Khan seated on the other end of the Koffee couch. She has also been introduced to the Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety star at an award function by her Simmba co-star Ranveer Singh. However, Sara Ali Khan hasn t taken talks with Kartik beyond that interaction. Despite Kartik having asked the actress for her number, she hasn t taken the next step and it s all because of Amrita Singh.
In a recent interaction with Box Office India, the actress was prompted to message Kartik on Instagram and get the ball rolling. However, the actress not only refused to slide into his DMs, she also revealed that she will not be approaching him anywhere else. When asked why, she said her mother has asked her to wait.

Meanwhile, Sara is riding high on the success of Simmba. The actress was seen playing the lead opposite Ranveer Singh in the Rohit Shetty directorial and the movie has already surpassed Rs 100 crore at the box office. Simmba currently records a box office collection of Rs 159.83 crore in the Indian market alone.
Apart from that, Sara has also won critics hearts with her performance in Kedarnath which released earlier last months. Reports suggest that she will be seen in Varun Dhawan s ABCD 3 next.
