Trending Tunes: Zero's Mere Naam Tu and Kedarnath's Qaafirana rocked the music charts this week

While we were blessed with some beautiful melodies by talented composers like Ajay-Atul and Amit Trivedi in the past few weeks, music-lovers seem to be still hung up on songs that were release earlier this year. These songs successfully hit the right notes with the listeners and, hence, have made it to our trending tunes list. So, let's check out the tracks that we think are most popular and will continue to be on every music lover's playlist for a while. Mera Naam Tu - Zero

The melodious romantic track from Shah Rukh Khan's Zero is a treat to the ears. The orchestra form of music by Ajay-Atul along with Abhay Jodhpurkar s soulful voice keep you hooked till the end. We are expecting this number to trend for a long time owing to these elements.

Qaafirana - Kedarnath

Arijit Singh returns after a short gap to entertain us with his melodies. This is another soulful number by the singer who has yet again spun magic with his soothing voice. As he croons Qaafirana, the emotions between Sara Ali Khan and Sushant Singh Rajput in the film become almost tangible as right from the first beat, the song just captures your heart.

Urvashi Urvashi

Here s another comeback, that of Yo Yo Honey Singh who had been missing from the rap scene for a while. His remixed version of the music legend A R Rahman s Urvashi Urvashi, which released two months back, continues to be one of the listener's favourite tracks. The youth appeal of this version of the song has created a buzz especially among the college-going crowd.

Proper Patola - Namasate England

Next on our list is Badshah's Proper Patola from Arjun Kapoor and Parineeti Chopra's Namaste England. This one continues to hold its position in the list even in the seventh week after its release. But we are not surprised as Badshah's compositions tend to last longer than others.

Dekhte Dekhte - Batti Gul Meter Chalu

And how could Atif Aslam not make it to this list? He is one singer who has given the most number of memorable songs in recent times and his beautiful rendition of Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan's Dekhte Dekhte from Batti Gul Meter Chalu is still winning listener's hearts with the rustic feel of the melody.
