Veteran singer Mohammad Aziz passed away four days ago at Mumbai's Nanavati Hospital after suffering a heart attack. While Aziz saab was known to be a big fan of Mohammad Rafi, he himself was an excellent singer and had sung some of the biggest hits in Hindi films from the 80s and early 90s. And one of the superstars from those times has just paid tribute to the singer. Amitabh Bachchan just wrote a heartfelt message for the veteran who passed away on November 27 at the age of 64. Calling Aziz saab his voice alter ego, Amitabh mourned his sudden death saying, "May Allah be with him." (Also read: Legendary playback singer Mohammad Aziz passes away at 64)

Mohammad Aziz had indeed lent his voice to several of Amitabh Bachchan's songs in movies like Mard, Krodh, Ajooba and many more. So, it is just right that the Sr. Bachchan is feeling sad for losing his voice, so to say. Also, to lose a veteran artist suddenly always comes as a shock. Apart from Big B, Aziz saab had sung songs for almost everyone from Rajesh Khanna and Anil Kapoor to Govinda and Sunny Deol. He had delivered hit duets with Lata Mangeshkar and Asha Bhosle which will live on forever.
We too hope that Allah is with Aziz saab and pray for his soul to rest in peace.
