About 18 years ago, today was the day Priyanka went from just another beauty pageant contestant to the Miss World 2000. The actress made every Indian proud as she bent down to receive the jewel-studded crown at the Millennium Dome in London, United Kingdom. Look at how far she s come ever since that iconic moment which still brings a smile on our face and evokes a sense of pride within us.

Today, almost two decades later, Priyanka is dolling up to marry the international singer. The actress has chosen the Umaid Bhavan Palace in Jodhpur to play host to her wedding. The actress will be getting married in an Indian wedding ceremony and a Christian style ceremony. Priyanka is hosting traditional wedding ceremonies so that the international guests like Joe Jonas, Sophie Turner, Lilly Singh, Jonathan Tucker and many more can get a firsthand experience of a big, fat Indian wedding.
The wedding rituals are expected to take place on December 2. Followed by which, the actress will host a wedding reception in New Delhi, wherein Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi is expected to meet and bless the newlywed couple.
