Sonali Bendre is back in Mumbai after spending close to six months in New York. The actress was diagnosed with high-grade cancer earlier this year and underwent treatment at the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Centre. Dressed in a black coat, Sonali was all smiling at the airport. Husband Goldie Behl was by her side, holding her hand. Talking to ANI, he said, "Sonali is doing good. She is back for good. She is recovering very well. For now, treatment has ended. But the disease can come back so regular check-ups will be done." The actress' brave fight with the disease has been a truly inspirational one.
The actress took to Insta to share an emotional post about coming back home. The couple has a teen son, Ranveer who was travelling often to New York to be with his mom. In her post, she wrote, "I'm on my way back to where my heart is. It's a feeling I can't describe in words but I'm going to try."
