How Deepika Padukone Went From Uber-Chic To Party-Ready In Seconds At Her Mumbai Reception

Deepika Padukone

Another day, another #DeepVeer celebration! This, you could say, was the most glamorous one we’ve seen yet! As all of B-Town’s biggest names came to celebrate with Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone, we were definitely feeling all the FOMO. But thanks to Instagram and our very own paps, we got to celebrate with #DeepVeer through these photos and videos.

We think we can safely say that this was also Deepika’s most glamorous look yet—a sparkly red Zuhair Murad gown that had a surprise element to it (keep reading to see what we’re talking about). While Ranveer complemented her in his three-piece suit from Rohit Gandhi + Rahul Khanna.

Deepika and Ranveer have been celebrating their union in the biggest, most exciting ways—that means parties that go on until 6 am, filled with never-ending thumkas and lots of happiness. Just like the reception party, Ranveer’s sister hosted for the couple, (where DP changed from her Sabyasachi lehenga into a white tee and tracks) we knew this night would be just as happening.

Being the modern-day classy bride that she is, Deepika came prepared to party all night! At a later stage in the night, she detached her train for the waist of her Zuhair Murad ensemble and swapped her red strappy heels for white kicks.

Here’s how she went from uber-chic to party-ready in seconds:

Comfy shoes and a comfy dress ensured that she could dance the night away with her Bollywood fam, and we couldn’t love her more for it! This is a trick future brides should definitely make a note of! What do you think of her look? Do let us know in the comments below!
