Kapil Sharma is tying the knot on December 12 and preparations have started in full swing in Ginni Chatrath and his homes in Punjab. The marriage will kickstart with a puja and Mata Ka Jagran. The ceremony is at Jalandhar in a five-star hotel followed by a reception in Amritsar. The whole team of The Kapil Sharma Show is going for the marriages in Punjab. In an EXCLUSIVE chat with Bollywood Life, Kiku Sharda said, "We all travelling to Punjab for the wedding. We do not have any special plans as such. This is such a happy moment for all. He had been talking about getting married since a while now. We do not discuss our personal lives so much but it was on his mind." Kapil and Ginni were friends since college and she was his Rock of Gibraltar during his illness last year.
The comedian also revealed that Kapil was in a happier state of mind. "He looks better and is cheerful. When he is happy he can surely make the audience happy as well," he says. Kapil met Ginni in college where he was actively involved in theatre. She has confessed that she liked him from day one and would even make tiffin for him early in the morning. However, her father wasn't keen on their alliance. Ginni kept on studying further to deflect her parent's attention from her marriage.
