The most expensive film in Indian history, 2.0, has arrived today and we are sure that it's going to be an all-time blockbuster. We already know that as an audience, you are more than excited to watch this sci-fi venture on the silver screen, so our request to you is that if you are planning to watch the movie then beware before you read further as we are about to share a spoiler. And it might give away a huge surprise. So, let us spill the beans.
We all know that Aishwarya Rai Bachchan played the female lead in the first part as the love interest of Dr Vaseegaran. But in the second part, there is not even a single glimpse of Aish, which has disappointed many of her fans. And now there's a twist in tale. The former Miss World has a special role in 2.0 which will make her admirers jump with joy. In one of the scenes of the sequel, we see Vaseegaran getting a call from Sana (that is Aishwarya's character s name from the first part) who sounds a lot like Aishwarya herself and the wallpaper of Rajinikanth's phone too shows a picture of the actress. So it s not like we will not witness Ash s presence at all in the film and then there s another beauty (Amy Jackson) to watch out for as well. However, recently director Shankar said that Aishwarya would not be a part of 2.0, citing the reason that, This is a different story. The love triangle was explored in part one. 2.0 is a new story in which the characters from Robot are repeated. Chitti, 2.0 Chitti and the scientist, Vaseegaran are part of this film. It s a whole new premise. This film didn t demand Aishwarya Rai Bachchan s character to be there. But there is a reference to the character played by her in the earlier film in 2.0.
