Bigg Boss Telugu 2 host and actor Nani will next be seen playing a cricketer in his upcoming film which is titled Jersey. Directed by Gowtam Tinnanuri, the film is slated to be released in summer 2019 tentatively and will have Nani playing a role named Arjun and sporting the whites of cricket. And as the fever of the upcoming festival season, Nani made an announcement about the film which was much waited for. The teaser of Jersey will out on January 12th, announced Nani along with a brand new poster. This news about Jersey is now going viral on digital spaces. This is the first time Nani would be seen playing a professional sportsperson although his Beemili Kabaddi Jattu had him playing a player but not as a professional. Check out his tweet right here:

Jersey stars Kannada actress Shraddha Srinath as the love interest of Nani and will be the U-Turn actress' debut film in Telugu. Jersey is directed by young filmmaker Gowtam Tinnanuri who shot to fame with Sumanth and Aakanksha Singh starrer Malli Raava. The music of Jersey is being composed by Anirudh Ravichander and will be the young sensation's second straight film in Telugu. Jersey is being produced by Naga Vamsi under the banner SIthara Entertainments and is tentatively scheduled for a summer release.
