Director Seenu Ramasamy has managed to rope in Udhay Stalin and Tamannaah for his upcoming film which is titled Kanne Kalaimaane. This intense drama has all the actors sporting rural looks which seems to be the essence of the film. The lovely chemistry between Udhay and Tamannaah stands out in this interesting trailer which was released by the makers today. Ramasamy, who is known for making films like Neerparavai and Dharma Durai, is back in business with Kanne Kalaimaane. Tamannaah s de-glam look catches your attention instantly and Udhay's portrayal as a rural young man is impressive.

Udhay was last seen in the 2018 release Nimir which was the Tamil remake of the Malayalam hit Maheshinte Prathikaram starring Fahadh Faasil. The remake was directed by Priyadarshan. Udhay has another film lined up titled Psycho which is directed by Mysskin. The film also features Nithya Menen and Aditi Rao Hydari in other lead roles.
Tamannaah was last seen in Sketch alongside Chiyaan Vikram which failed to impress the audience. Directed by Vijay Chander, the film had a grand opening but eventually tanked at the box office. Director Seenu Ramasamy last directed Idam Porul Yaeval which starred Vijay Sethupathi and Aishwarya Rajesh in lead roles.
