Veteran actor Kader Khan's demise sent shock waves across the country. The 81-year-old was an inseparable part of Bollywood but for the past few years, while he was battling his illness, hardly anyone from B-town inquired about the actor's health. However, post his demise, celebs like Amitabh Bachchan, Govinda, Shatrughan Sinha among others offered their condolences. Govinda, who worked with Kade Khan in films like, Raja Babu, Jaisi Karni Waisi Bharni among others, had expressed grief on his social media handle by tweeting, "RIP Kader Khan Saab. He was not just my "ustaad" but a father figure to me, his midas touch and his aura made every actor he worked with a superstar. The entire film industry and my family deeply mourns this loss and we cannot express the sorrow in words."
Following this, Kader Khan's son, Sarfaraz, had questioned the actor as to when did he inquire about his (Kader Khan) health or did he even call them post his demise. Days after Sarfaraz's statement, Govinda has finally reacted to it. "Woh (Sarfaraz) bachche hain. Aur mujhe aisa lagta hai ki main uspe comment nahin doonga. He is a kid. Mujhe pata Laga woh. [He is a kid and I would not like to comment on it. He is a kid. I got know (what he said)]," he told BBC Hindi.
On the professional front, Govinda is gearing up for the release of his film, Rangeela Raja. Directed by Sikander Bharti and produced by Pahlaj Nihalani, the film is slated to release on January 18, 2019.
