Honestly speaking, our TV sets have been weirdly quiet. Our weekends have been a bore and we blame Kapil Sharma for it. That man has got us so hooked to his laugh riot and now that it hasn t been around, we ve been going back to the reruns to have a laugh or two. So, you could imagine our excitement on seeing the first promo last week. If that cracked you up, wait until you hear what exactly Kapil Sharma was up to when The Kapil Sharma Show was on a break. Yes, Kiku Shrada has spilled the beans and revealed that Kapil was busy watching Kiku s paneer, which his character sells on the show, going bad over the past year.
The new 30-seconds teaser features Simmba stars Ranveer Singh and Sara Ali Khan joined by director Rohit Shetty. The trio s discussion with Kapil is interrupted when Kiku s alter ego walks in to boast about the paneer (cottage cheese) that he sells. In the fun banter, Kiku reveals that he has different kinds and colours of cottage cheese that would surely interest the Simmba team.
Kapil soon takes a dig at the milk product to say that Kiku has a variety of cheese because he lets it sit through the course of the week, and so there are it appears in different colours every day. Kiku instantly quipped stating that Kapil spent the entire year watching his cheese going bad, taking a massive dig at the comedian s break from television.

The hit comedy show is making a comeback just in time for the New Year. The first episode of the new season airs on December 29. The first promo has already given us a glimpse at the guest list of the show. It includes the Khan family, including Salman, Arbaaz, Sohail along with daddy Salim.
And we cannot wait!
