Karan Johar's upcoming period drama Takht is one of the most exciting projects that has been announced recently. The magnum opus set in the Mughal Era has a stellar cast, a dream one for many directors. Ranveer Singh, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Alia Bhatt, Bhumi Pednekar, Janhvi Kapoor, Anil Kapoor and Vicky Kaushal headline the primary cast. While Singh is playing Dara Shikoh, Kaushal is playing Aurangzeb. However, the movie is only going on the floors in mid-2019. Nevertheless, before that, Vicky Kaushal has already signed a horror movie. The project is helmed by Karan Johar's production house and will feature Bhumi Pednekar opposite him. It is directed by a debutant.
In an exclusive conversation with BollywoodLife, Vicky spoke about his upcoming horror flick. This will be the first time he will feature in the genre. Also, he shed light on the biggest movie of 2020. While talking about Karan Johar's directorial Takht, Vicky said, "It is a dream cast and a dream director." He also revealed that the preparation for Takht has not begun yet but will soon start after he completes the horror one which will also release before the end of 2019.
