Shah Rukh Khan, Anushka Sharma and Katrina Kaif have finally taken over the big screen with Zero. The Jab Tak Hai Jaan trio reunited for Aanand L Rai and have put up an impressive show. While critics are raving about the movie, Karan Johar also couldn t stop himself from sharing his thoughts on the movie. The filmmaker took to Twitter to share his views on Zero. The director-producer was all praise for Shah Rukh and Anushka, but he had a special review for Katrina s character.
Karan tweeted, ZERO is a must watch for the towering performance of @iamsrk who proves that he is truly the bonafide king of intense romance! His bravado as a performing artist warrants a salute and all the applause! @AnushkaSharma is so so amazing as she portrays a challenging part! And....
And..#KatrinaKaif gives us her career best performance!! As a damaged super star she throws caution and body language to the winds and gives us her most heartfelt and believable performance! She shines and makes you root for her!! #zero, he added.
Well, we loved Katrina as well. The actress, who plays Babita Kumari in the movie, nailed her role in the movie and boy, we loved every moment she was on screen. Her never-before-seen character left us begging for more.
Katrina had said in an interview before that portraying Babita was not an easy task for her. "The work was inspiring and challenging, but personally it was not a fun place to go to. After a 10-day or a two-week schedule, we d take a break, and when I got back to the set, I d confess to Aanand sir that I didn t want to go back to the deeply sad space where Babita s obnoxious behaviour stemming from. He d nod, I know mere bachche, but kar na, she had recalled in a recent interview.
