Simmba will be Ranveer Singh s first release following his wedding. The actor tied the knot to Deepika Padukone after dating her for six years. The couple escaped to Lake Como in Italy and tied the knot in a Konkani wedding ritual first and then exchanged their vows in a Sindhi style wedding. Today, the actor made his first solo appearance as a married man at the trailer launch of Simmba and as expected, he was quizzed about Deepika.
Among the many question asked, the actor was asked if Deepika watched the trailer and if so, what was her reaction to it. The question got everyone excited and the actor also did not shy away from reacting to it.
Speaking to the audience present at the trailer launch, he revealed that Deepika saw a few rushes of the movie on Ranveer s birthday (July 6) and couldn t stop herself from reacting. "On my birthday Deepika saw rushes but she never reacts but after watching trailer she just turned and said you look hot, Ranveer revealed. We think Deepika summed up our reaction to Ranveer from the movie, isn t it? Check out the video here:

The actor will be portraying the role of Simmba in the movie, Simmba. The actor beefed up for the role and boy, we cannot get enough of him. According to the trailer, Ranveer plays the role of a bad cop turned good after an incident involving a dear one shakes up.
Simmba is directed by Rohit Shetty and features Sonu Sood in the negative role and Sara Ali Khan plays the leading lady. The movie also features Ajay Devgn in a cameo. A glimpse of which we saw in the trailer as well.
