Rajinikanth - Akshay Kumar's 2.0 CRUSHES Tiger Shroff's Baaghi 2, becomes fifth highest opening weekend grosser of the year

Director Shankar's 2.0 has done a phenomenal business in its extended opening weekend at the box office. The Hindi version of this sci-fi venture has earned Rs 97.25 crore in its first - four days and with this total, it has become the fifth highest opening weekend grosser of the year after beating the business Tiger Shroff and Disha Patani's Baaghi 2, which had collected Rs 71.30 crore.

The film is all set to enter the Rs 100 crore club today.

Karan Johar has presented the Hindi version of 2.0 under his banner Dharma Productions. Apparently, it is the first Indian film, which is entirely shot in 3D. Produced under the banner of Lyca Productions, the film stars Akshay Kumar, Rajinikanth, Amy Jackson, Adil Hussain and Sudhanshu Pandey in pivotal roles. Talking about Bollywood's review, our editor-in-chief, Tushar Joshi, who loved the film gave it 3.5 stars and wrote, "2.0 is a landmark film in Indian cinema and captain of the ship Shankar deserves all the credit. Watch it for Akshay Kumar s crazy act as the menacing bird man and of course the superstar Rajinikanth is a bonus thrown in the mix."
