Priyanka Chopra is officially a married woman now. The actress tied the knot with Nick Jonas over the weekend at the Umaid Bhavan Palace in Jodhpur. The actress had a fun mehendi and a glamourous sangeet before she exchanged her vows with the international singer in a Christian wedding ritual followed by an Indian style wedding. After all that jazz, PeeCee is headed to New Delhi with her husband to host their wedding reception. But Priyanka is not prolonging her wedding celebrations too long. Instead, she s diving back into work as soon as possible and we know what she ll be up to.
After wrapping her winter wedding, Priyanka is expected to fly down to Mumbai and film an episode for Koffee With Karan 6. Not only will this be her first project after the wedding, this will also be one of the most anticipated episodes of the talk show this season. Why? Well, Mrs Priyanka (yes, get used to that) will be starring on the episode with the beautiful Kareena Kapoor Khan.
We reported earlier that the two actresses will be making an appearance on the show. As per Pinkvilla sources, the actresses could take the couch sometime next weekend.
Priyanka is currently busy with her wedding prep. She was first going to shoot with Kareena for Koffee With Karan after her wedding on December 6. But now, it has got postponed to the second week of December. The final date hasn t been locked yet, but it is sometime around December 14 or 15, a source revealed.
As for her other work commitments, Priyanka will soon be seen in Isn t It Romantic! followed by The Sky Is Pink. The first is a Hollywood venture whereas the second sees the actress return to Bollywood after a long break.
