Jennifer Winget is one of the leading ladies of the small screen now. The actress made a mark with her role of Maya in Beyhadh and bowled everyone over. Thus when she was all set to return in a completely new avatar in Bepannah, fans went crazy. The show became the talk-of-the-town due to the out-of-the-box concept and started winning hearts all over. But soon the charm faded and after running for a total of 7 months, the channel pulled the plug on the show due to bad numbers on the BARC list. Fans were left heartbroken with the sudden ending of Bepannaah. Even Jennifer felt the same.
Sharing about it to Hindustan Times, she told, "The show ended in seven months and I think we could have given it a better ending, as I felt it was a bit abrupt." For the ones who don't know, Aditya and Zoya patched up at the end after clearing the misunderstanding. On the other hand, Anjana confessed killing Yash, Pooja and Sakshi. Zoya's father agreed to Noor and Arjun's love and the show drew curtains on a happy note.
Meanwhile, rumours were rife that Bepannaah might have continued digitally but Jennifer and Harshad denied it. Sharing about it, Jennifer told, "I can speak for myself. For me, this show was conceptualised for the television audience. There is something sweet about a short-lived journey and dragging it (the show) may eventually end up ruining it. I went with my instinct and took a decision."
