Diljit Dosanjh and Kiara Advani kick off shooting for the rom-com titled Good News that has Akshay Kumar and Kareena Kapoor Khan as leads

Here s some good news for all movie buffs. The Akshay Kumar and Kareena Kapoor Khan-starrer film finally goes on the floors today. However, Akki and Bebo have not started shooting for their parts yet as the filming begins with Diljit Dosanjh and Kiara Advani, who play key roles in this venture. Producer of the film, Karan Johar shared a funny video with Diljit and Kiara seen warning the crew to be punctual as they set off filming. The duo is seen reminding everyone that Akshay Kumar prefers to shart the shoot early morning and on time. Karan captioned the video with, "#GOODNEWS starts today with @diljitdosanjh and @Advani_Kiara !! @akshaykumar and #KareennaKapoorKhan will join soon! Fun times begin under the baton of debut director @raj_a_mehta !!! @DharmaMovies @apoorvamehta18".

The film will bring Akshay and Kareena together after more than 3 years. The duo was last seen sharing screen space in 2015's Gabbar Is Back. Good News marks the directorial debut of Raj Mehta and is set to hit the theatres on July 19, 2019. On the work front, Akshay Kumar will be next seen in Kesari which is again produced by Karan Johar. For those of you who don t know, Kesari is based on the Battle of Saragarhi that took place between the Sikh soldiers of the British Indian Army and the Pashtun Orakzai tribesmen in 1897.
