Kannada actor Yash, whose last outing KGF: Chapter 1 shattered records at the box office, turns a year older today. However, the actor won't be celebrating his 33rd birthday this year. While the wishes have started pouring in, Yash has revealed why he doesn't wish to celebrate his special day. He took to his social media handle and tweeted a video wherein he requested his fans to not celebrate his birthday too as he is still mourning the death of actor Ambareesh. "There is a time for celebration and then there is a time for remembrance and reflection. This year is for the latter," the actor captioned the video.

Kannada actor Ambareesh left for heavenly abode on November 25 after suffering a heart attack. He was 66. Talking about Yash, the actor made his debut in 2007 with Jambada Hudugi. Yash starred opposite Radhika Pandit (his now wife) in Moggina Manasu which was his second film. On the work front, his last outing KGF: Chapter 1 has become the first Kannada film to cross Rs 200 crore at the ticket windows. He will next be seen in the sequel of KGF.
