From Anushka Sharma to Ileana D'Cruz – here are 5 B-town actresses who have no films releasing in 2019

Just like last year, Bollywood has an interesting line up of films to cater to the audience in 2019. While a few actresses have loads of releases this year, some have not a single film hitting the 70 mm screens in 2019. And those B-town hotties are - Anushka Sharma, Kajol, Diana Penty, Sara Ali Khan and Ileana D'Cruz.

Without further ado, let's get started...

Anushka Sharma

The actress was last seen in Aanand L Rai's Zero wherein she played the role of a scientist. Anushka reunited with her Jab Tak Hai Jaan co-stars Shah Rukh Khan and Katrina Kaif for Zero. Despite having a stellar cast on-board, the film doomed at the box office. For this year, neither are there any speculations about Anushka signing a project nor has the actress herself shared her plans.

Sara Ali Khan

Sara Ali Khan had a fantastic 2018 as she had not one but two movie releases in the span of a month. The 23-year-old made her debut with Abhishek Kapoor's Kedarnath opposite Sushant Singh Rajput and later went on to do Simmba opposite Ranveer Singh. Both the films fared well at BO and Sara was welcomed with open-arms. As for 2019, Sara has no film that will hit the silver screen. There were reports about the young actress doing Baaghi 3 but she has denied it.

Kajol

Kajol was last seen in Pradeep Sarkar's comedy drama Helicopter Eela which received a mixed response from the audience and critics alike. The film backed by Ajay Devgn, Jayantilal Gada and Aksshay Jayantilal Gada, was based on Aanand Gandhi's Gujarati play, Beta, Kaagdo. After Helicopter Eela's release, the actress has not announced any new project.

Diana Penty

Popularly known for her role in the Saif Ali Khan and Deepika Padukone-starred, Cocktail, Diana Penty had two releases - Parmanu: The Story Of Pokhran and Happy Phirr Bhag Jayegi, in 2018. Unfortunately, the 34-year-old has no release this year.

Ileana D'Cruz

Last seen in Raid (2018), Ileana D'Cruz has been part of some great movies in her filmy career. From Barfi to Rustom, the 32-year-old has impressed audience with her screen presence. But owing to reasons best known to her, Ileana has no project hitting the cinemas in 2019.
