Since the trailer of Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga released, the internet has been going gaga over it. And let me tell you something, since the time I have watched the trailer, I was waiting for its title track. The rendition of RD Burman's classic was one of the biggest hits in 1994. Till date, the magic of the song is unbeatable. And therefore, the idea of its remix would not have sounded appealing. A big risk. However, we need to thank the music composer Rochak Kohli for not ruining the classic hit. The new version from the film has been released today and it is all hearts. Kohli has made sure to revive the track with his touch, and it works! The lyrics are different and except the hook line, everything is new and refreshing, which works very well for the track.
When you have a sensation like Darshan Raval, the chances of him spoiling a romantic track is minimal. Darshan and Rochak created magic with their voice. There's just one point where the song takes a dip, but that is not something we cannot ignore. Meanwhile, Rajkummar Rao looks enchanted with Sonam Kapoor in the narrative. And the gushy moments between Anil Kapoor and Juhi Chawla are also a winner.
