Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is very difficult to get hold of. She loves to be with her friends and family the most. Even when she is on social media, she keeps the posts minimal and only publishes stuff that involves her family or work. She has always been this fiercely guarded person and we love her for that. But at times, it's always nice to hear her shed her inhibitions and say a few things that can make people take note of. Say for example, when she was asked about the worst comments she ever heard about herself on Famously Filmfare, she said, 'Fake and plastic.' That definitely rings a bell. We wonder if that's anything to do with Vivek Oberoi and Emraan Hashmi's comments.
Vivek Oberoi in a tell-all interview to Farah Khan's show on a channel had said a lot about his controversial relationship with Aishwarya. When asked what triggered him to call that press conference against Salman Khan so many years back, he had said, "Uss waqt mere aaspas bahut log the aur woh apni 'RAI' dete the. After Farah chuckled on his choice of words, he corrected it saying, "Mashwarra dete the and I went by their word. Moreover, I was young that time and my father (Suresh Oberoi) too was not in town when I took that decision." He then ended it saying, "There is less plastic in Tupperware factory than our film industry. People with plastic smile and plastic heart." [sic] He may not have taken her name directly but it's a comment that went down in history.
Then there's Emraan Hashmi's quick wit reply on Koffee With Karan which created a major stir. He called her plastic during a segment on the show and had to apologise for the same. He later said, "I didn t mean it. I m a big fan of Aishwarya. It s the format of the show. I cannot not say things and not win the hamper." But it did make Aishwarya uneasy if we go by her confession on the show.
