THIS Tollywood star to feature in the Telugu remake of Vishnu Vishal-starrer Ratsasan?

Tamil actor Vishnu Vishal scored a blockbuster hit with the recently released Ratsasan. Directed by Ramkumar, Ratsasan was one of the best films in Tamil released in recent times. Said to be a horror-thriller, Ratsasan received great response from audience and overwhelming reviews from critics because of the great screenplay. And as hit film would have it, Ratsasan too is being planned to be remade in multiple languages. Going by the reports, the first remake may be in Telugu featuring a popular star. News has it that Ratsasan Telugu remake may feature Nithiin in the lead role and may be directed by Sudheer Varma. Reports reveal that the remake rights of Ratsasan have been acquired by Nithiin and Sudheer Varma has been handed the responsibility of fine tuning the script to the suit the Telugu audiences. If these reports are to be believed, audience in Telugu will be in for a treat.

Nithiin was last seen in Srinivasa Kalyanam which was directed by Satish Vegesna. Touted to be a family drama, Srinivasa Kalyanam couldn t live up to the expectations of the audience and eventually turned out to be a dud. The film also starred Raashi Khanna in the other lead role. And with the remake of Ratsasan, Nithiin will look to score a hit and set his career back on track.

Speaking about Ratsasan, the film also starred Amala Paul as the leading lady. The film had a silent opening on first day of release but picked up immensely after the first reviews came out. Ratsasan is being termed as one of the best films of 2018 in Tamil cinema after the huge success.
