We are just a few days away from the end of 2018. The excitement for the new year is obviously at its peak. However, before we step into the new year, we must revisit 2018. It has been the year when we found how impactful TV actors are. Remember when Surbhi Chandna was asked to leave Ishqbaaaz? Her fans created furor on social media. Also, when TV shows like Bepannaah, Naamkarann, Silsila Badalte Rishton Ka were announced to be pulled off, their followers went into a frenzy. Also, this has been the year when makers had quirky pairs as their lead characters. Didn't get us? Well, let's take a look at six reel jodis who made a strong impact on us. And as we bid adieu to 2018, these characters will be remembered.
Akshat - Guddan
Nishant Singh Malkani became the most handsome father-in-law of Indian TV with the show, Guddan Tumse Na Ho Payega. He was paired with debutante Kanika Mann aka Guddan. Their love story started off on a sour note but their chemistry is adored by viewers. The show is doing extremely well on the TRP charts as well.
Aditya - Zoya
If it comes to popularity no one can beat Aditya (Harshad Chopda) and Zoya (Jennifer Winget) from Bepannaah. The chemistry and the intensity they had on-screen was unbeatable. Looking at the two, your heart will crave for someone special in your life too.
Ritwik - Palak
Ekta Kapoor has given us some memorable jodis. This year, Dil Hi Toh Hai did really well on the online TRPs. People loved the relationship between the complexed arrogant Ritwik Noon and the righteous Dr Palak. Karan Kundrra and Yogita Bihani got a lot of appreciation for their performances.
Zara - Kabir
Zara (Eisha Singh) and Kabir (Adnan Khan) entered the TV space like a breath of fresh air with Ishq Subhan Allah. They had raw chemistry which helped the daily soap climb up the TRP charts instantly.
Maahir - Bela
Although, Naagin 3 is all about Naagin, for the first time in the franchise, the love story was more appreciated than the twist-laced storyline. Bela (Surbhi Jyoti) and Maahir (Pearl V Puri) share an unspoken chemistry, which is very subtle and probably that is the reason it clicks well.
