According to a report by Mumbai Mirror, while the plot of the film is based on a true story, the writers will fictionalise some incidents in order to give the screenplay a dramatic touch and a cinematic vision. The report further informs that Raja Ram Tiwari attended the Kumbh Mela for the first time at the age of 18 in 1946. He was deeply moved when he saw an elderly woman separated from her relatives in the maddening crowd. He couldn t stop himself from helping out the stranded woman and the immense joy he felt after the selfless motivated him to find others who might be lost in the once-in-three-years fair and reunite them with their families.
The man who passed away on August 20, 2016 at the age of 88, continued his good work for 70 odd years with his social initiative called Khoya Paya Shivir/Lost and Found. His son carried forward the legacy and was the one who shared his father s story with Siddharth and his team of writers as per a source close to the development. It instantly captured their imagination. The film goes on floors in the second half of 2019 and noticeable names from the film industry will form a part of the ensemble cast, the source told the publication.
Well we are eager to see which stars are cast in this venture and how it turns out. As for the inspiration for the plot, it is definitely a strong one. What are your thoughts? Tweet to us @bollywood_life.
