Akshay Kumar and Rajinikanth-starrer 2.0 has continued to garner great footfalls in the weekdays at the box office. The mega-budget sci-fi venture has yet again made collections in double digit figures yesterday, which clearly shows that the film is getting immense love from the audience. It raked in Rs 11.50 crore on its first Tuesday and now stands with the grand total of Rs 122.50 crore.

Looking at the current scenario, we are expecting the film to cross the Rs 140-crore mark in its opening week making it Akshay Kumar's highest grosser of all time. Since Kedarnath and Mortal Engines are hitting this Friday, it'll be interesting to see how 2.0 will perform on its second weekend at the ticket windows. The film has been made on a budget of Rs 600 crore. Rajinikanth plays a scientist and a robot. He also appears as a microbot, dubbed 3.0, which was one of the major surprise elements in this venture. A sequel to Shankar's 2010 blockbuster Enthiran, 2.0 has been produced by Lyca Productions and was released in Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi on November 29. Earlier this week, Lyca Productions revealed that the film grossed a whopping Rs 400 crore on its opening weekend worldwide.
