Director Aanand L Rai's Zero has underperformed at the box office and it's disheartening to see the collections doesn't justify the stardom of Badshah of Bollywood Shah Rukh Khan. The film, which received over 4000 screens at the domestic market grossed Rs 73.83 crore (nett Rs 59.07 crore) in India and Rs 35 crore at the overseas box office. It currently stands with the grand total of Rs 108.83 crore at the global market. Since the budget of the film is very high, we don't it will recover it through its theatrical run.
Shah Rukh plays a vertically challenged man Bauua Singh in the movie directed by Raanjhanaa and Tanu Weds Manu franchise helmer and also features Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma. While the audience loved the performances of the lead stars, the story failed to impress the moviegoers. It is clearly visible that 2018 was not for Khans and we hope all of them come back with a bang in the next year. (Also Read: EXCLUSIVE VIDEO!
