When Ekta Kapoor had announced the reboot of her iconic daily soap Kasautii Zindagii Kay, the fans of the show were quite excited. TV actors Erica Fernandes and Parth Samthaan were roped in to play the iconic characters of Prerna and Anurag, respectively. However, the biggest shocker of the show was when Kapoor roped in TV's favorite bahu Hina Khan as the ultimate vamp Komolika. Three months since the show went on air, Kapoor has another big announcement for the fans of the show. The TV czarina had revealed that her show Kasautii Zindagii Kay is going digital. Just like her previous show Dil Hi Toh Hai, which had a simultaneous run on the digital platform and the TV screens, KZK will also air on Kapoor's OTT platform and on Star Plus simultaneously.
While announcing the good news, Kapoor, stated, "For the first time I think ...a @starplus show will now air on @altbalaji ! Thankuuuu uday sir n gaurav for showing @balajitelefilmslimited this respect! Gratitudefrom d bottom of my heart! Plssee #kasautiizindagiikay( 3 month deffered )from the very 1 st EP on @altbalaji from Tom 9 pm!" [sic]
That is a great news! However, what caught our attention the most was when Kapoor added something along with the announcement. She continued that Erica Fernandes has been receiving a lot of criticism for her voice. However, Kapoor herself prefers Fernandes' raw voice with the base. While talking about this she also gave a funny connotation which left us cracking. "P.s this had to b said.. all criticism on Prerna s voice has made her work hard n as u all hv noticed she sounds v diff now!BUT I PREFERRED her earlier voice ..base n raw! Y do we chase perfection in our characters I much liked when Prerna looked like Shradha kapoor n sounded like Shakti kapoor ????( no offence on anyone ) I am sure Anurag agrees??? )," she wrote
