Besides Rajinikanth, Petta stars Vijay Sethupathi, Simran and Trisha Krishnan in key roles. Bollywood's acclaimed actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui will also be seen playing a key role and Petta will mark his debut in Tamil cinema. The music of Petta is composed by Anirudh Ravichander and the album, which is out now, has already become a blockbuster hit and fans are loving it. Petta is slated to be released during Pongal in January 2019. Petta is being produced by Sun Pictures and will be Rajinikanth s first release in 2019.
