Looking resplendent in a red Benarasi saree, Parul Chauhan has married long-time beau Chirag Thakkar in a simple ceremony in Juhu's ISKCON Temple. The groom donned a white sherwani. Parul was the typical traditional Indian bride with a maroon velvet veil and shining crown. She is known for her work in Bidaai and is now seen as Suwarna in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. The wedding will be followed by a couple of receptions, one at her hometown Lakhimpur Kheri in Uttar Pradesh and one in Mumbai for the TV folks. Family members of the couple were present for the nuptials, which happened with all rituals. Parul wore a heavy Jadau necklace with her Benarasi saree while Chirag accessorized his sherwani with a dazzling emerald necklace. They had been dating for a couple of years. From the team of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, Rajan Shahi, Sachin Tyagi, Shilpa Raizada and Shivangi Joshi was in attendance. Shivangi wore a green-coloured sharara.
