Ajith's Viswasam is gearing up for release in less than two weeks and is said to be a feast for fans during Pongal 2019. Directed by Siva, Viswasam will be the fourth collaboration of the actor and the filmmaker after having previously worked on Veeram, Vedalam and Vivegam. Viswasam will have Ajith sporting two different looks, one - a younger look and other being an elderly look, which is now the focal point in Tamil film circles.
According to the latest reports, the film will have a huge release despite clashing with Rajinikanth-starrer Petta which is likely to release on the same date. And that is because Viswasam is set to achieve a rare feat by becoming the first film to release in Russia and Ukraine. It is being speculated that the film will have the biggest release ever as compared to any Indian movie in these two countries.

Viswasam also stars Nayanthara as the female lead actor and will be seen playing Ajith s love interest in the plot. The film is said to be set in a rural backdrop and will have Ajith sporting a traditional and massy look. Going by the posters and the songs released so far, the hype around the film is on a new high and has gotten fans excited about it. Going by speculations, the film may be released on January 10, 2019, which is the Thursday before Pongal.
