Ranveer Singh's interesting line-up of films makes us believe that 2019 is going to his year. After the stupendous success of Simmba, the actor is all set to take us by storm with Gully Boy. Thereafter, the actor will start shooting for Kabir Khan's 83, which is based on the Indian Cricket Team's 1983 world cup win. In this film, Ranveer will be essaying the role of a legendary cricketer, Kapil Dev. And if the latest reports are to believed, Ranveer's better half, Deepika Padukone, is a part of the film as well. As per a report in Deccan Chronicle, the actress will be playing the role of Kapil Dev's wife, Romi Bhatia, in the film. Yes, you read it right!
Kabir Khan has already approached Deepika for the role and the actress has given a positive response. "Deepika s role requires just seven days of shooting. The filmmakers believe the part where Romi Bhatia left the stadium mid-way assuming that West Indies will win the 1983 World Cup final, and the difficulties she encountered in coming back into the stadium when India was on the verge of winning, can be well emoted by Deepika," a source was quoted saying to the leading daily. This is the best thing you've heard today, isn't it?
If you remember, recently in an interview, Ranveer had expressed his desire to work with DP again saying he is aching to work with his wife. And looks like, the actor's wish is indeed getting fulfilled.
