Telugu star Ravi Teja will be soon teaming up with director Vi Anand for the first time and the film will go on the floors from January 2019. Said to be an intense drama, the film is yet to be titled but is expected to have a funky one. According to latest reports, the yet-untitled venture is said to feature Tamil actor R Madhavan in a key role yet again after Savyasachi. Numerous reports have been doing the rounds on social media that Maddy will be seen playing the baddie again after his debut Telugu film Savyasachi. However, reacting to these reports, Madhavan denies being part of the film. Reacting to a tabloid's report on Twitter, the actor said that the news is not true and is not doing the film.

The actor made his debut in Telugu cinema with Naga Chaitanya-starrer Savyasachi which had an average run at the box office. Maddy, however, received great appreciation from audience for his portrayal as a menacing villain. Speaking about the Ravi Teja-Vi Anand film, news also has it that Ravi will be seen playing dual roles in this film. The film will feature RX 100-fame actress Payal Rajput as one of the leading ladies as well. It is also being reported that the film has been titled Disco Raja which is yet to be officially confirmed by the makers.
