The makers of Kangana Ranaut's Manikarnika: The Queen Of Jhansi have unveiled Ankita Lokhande's look from the film. And, the actress looks fierce as Jhalkari Bai. She was a woman soldier in Rani Laxmibai s army, however, she eventually turned advisor to the Queen. Jhalkari Bai is still worshipped by many. On her 188th birth anniversary, Ankita Lokhande had opened up about the warrior's deeds and said, "Her heroism and sacrifices for the society are unsung but this woman was one of the most important factors in the battle of Jhansi," in her long Instagram post. Talking about the film's trailer launch, it is set to take place on December 18. In an interview with Hindustan Times, Kangana revealed that the trailer launch event of Manikarnika: The Queen Of Jhansi, will be like a grand wedding. "Our marketing team is planning an exciting, never-seen-before trailer launch, and we are all preparing for it like a grand wedding," she said.
