Bollywood actress Daisy Shah, who has appeared in films like Race 3 and Jai Ho has been summoned by Mumbai Police to record her statement regarding Tanushree Dutta's sexual harassment case. The Chocolate actress alleged that Nana Patekar physically and verbally abused her on the sets of Horn Ok Pleasss in 2008 while performing a dance number. The actress later filed a complaint against Nana at Oshiwara's police station.
As per the notice, Daisy Shah, who was the assistant choreographer of Ganesh Acharya was present during the incident. A senior officer confirmed the news to Midday and said, "We will record statements of everyone present on the sets when the alleged incident took place. Shah has been asked to record her statement at the police station whenever she is comfortable, within a week or two." Talking about the row, Daisy earlier told News 18, "I was just an assistant choreographer who knew nothing about what all was happening. I have nothing to say about it. My job over there was only to teach steps. I wasn t the part of the internal conversation of what was happening and not happening. I was just like a random person who was shooting on that film." Post this allegation, Nana Patekar has stepped down from the Akshay Kumar starrer Housefull 4.
