Tamil actor Vishal gets arrested but promises, 'We will fight back, will do everything to conduct Ilayaraja sir event'

Vishal is in a bit of a mess right now. The Tamil actor tweeted today morning saying, "Police who were mute yesterday wen unauthorised ppl locked the doors & gates of TFPC have arrested me & my colleague today for no fault of ours, absolutely unbelievable We will fight back,wil do everything to conduct Ilayaraja sir event & raise funds to help Producers in distress." [sic] We did some digging up and found out that there are a lot of allegations against the actor. As per Indiaglitz, the reason why he was arrested was the fact that he allegedly tried to break the lock of the producer's council building at Tenampet, which was closed by a group of producers yesterday. Vishal is the President of the Tamil Film Producers Council.

As per a report on Sify, producer AL Azhagappan said, "I m hearing reports that Vishal is involved in a lot of criminal activities. A few say that he also has a share in the piracy website Tamilrockers." The producer further added, "The Kannada producers council will not allow a Tamil film to get dubbed in Kannada but Vishal is releasing KGF on his own in Tamil Nadu. Members of the council have many questions for Vishal and when they tried to ask him in the last general body meeting, he escaped without addressing any important topics."
