TV actors Kunal Jaisingh and Bharti Kumar are set to tie the knot tonight. Last night the two had a mehendi ceremony and sangeet ceremony which had us quite excited. The Ishqbaaaz actor has been in a relationship since quite some time now. So before they exchange vows and tie the knot, BollywoodLife is here to give you a low down on their love story. The two have been quite secretive about their relationship. In fact, until last year the two didn't even accept their relationship. The first time that reports of their relationship came out was in 2012. That time the two were shooting for their show, The Buddy Project. As per reports on an online portal, Kunal used to stay back till late only to travel back with his then co-star, Bharti. However, the two were in denial about their relationship. When Kunal was contacted, he said, "We are very good friends as our wavelengths match but there is nothing more than that. And it s not like I only stay back for Bharti, I also stay back for Palak (Jain-Panchi who is paired opposite Kunal in the show). I usually stay back if the shooting goes on till late in the night for I don t want them to travel all alone. And it has happened only once or twice.
Post that the two were secretive about their relationship. And as a result we didn't get to know anything about them. Only in 2017, there was a report which stated that Kunal and Bharti will get married in 2018. At that time as well, the two remained mum about their relationship. Only in early January 2018, the actor displayed his love on social media by wishing Bharti.
Cut to six years later, when Kunal announced his engagement. He posted pictures on Instagram and announced that they will exchange rings on March 18. When talking as to why he chose to hide his relationship, Kunal said, "I had my reasons, but it was definitely not because I am an actor and I feared losing out on projects. We wanted our parents to know it before announcing the news to the world. Finally, our families met a month ago and finalised everything"
Now, today, on December 20, the two are tying the knot in a close-knit affair.
