They got engaged in Gudi Padwa 2018, at Juhu's ISKCON Temple. Kunal knew her since The Buddy Project days. They were great friends. After the show wound up, they realised that they had developed deep feelings for each other. Kunal took her one night for dinner and asked her if she too felt the same.
