Nick Jonas defends his quick marriage to Priyanka Chopra, says 'both of our parents got married pretty quickly'

Desi girl Priyanka Chopra and her pardesi babu Nick Jonas recently tied the knot/walked the aisle to celebrate their love and we just consider ourselves fortunate to see them embark on this new journey of togetherness. All of that, especially, in her white wedding gown by Ralph Lauren and the red lehenga designed by Sabyasachi Mukherjee. It truly couldn't have been better. Oh wait, Nick did make the impossible possible, when he wiped a tear after seeing his bride walk towards him, leaving us all into a puddle of mush! Needless to say, their dreamy wedding celebrations gave a lot of us reasons to take the plunge and that's just one way of putting it! Other pre-wedding festivities included a mehndi party, Priyanka's sangeet, which is a celebration of dance and singing, while the mehndi saw the bride apply henna on her arms and feet. It was again, straight out of a Bollywood movie. In fact, their recent feature in Hello magazine just spoke volumes about the same. They have not only shared opulent pictures from the ceremonies but have also opened up about the new journey and everything in between. In fact, Nick has also explained their urge to get married and has said, "Both of our parents actually got married pretty quickly after meeting each other." He also added, "Mine were three months and her parents 10 days. People always say 'you know when you know' - but really, 'you know when you know.'" And we couldn't agree more. Not just that. When asked about which element of the Indian ceremony surprised him the most, Nick stated, "Just how thoughtful it is finding the meaning behind every detail really just made me fall in love with the culture even more." Isn't just adorable? Reportedly, the couple will have two honeymoons. She will return to the shoot of The Sky Is Pink during the month end and during Christmas the team will take a break and then the actress will head for her first honeymoon.
