After wrapping up Manikarnika, Kangana Ranaut will soon begin shooting for Panga which will be directed by Ashwini Iyer Tiwari. The film is said to be based on the sport Kabaddi and will have Kangana Ranaut play a player of the sport. And according to latest reports, Kangana Ranaut will undergo training in Kabaddi for close to a month to prepare for her role in Panga. The film went on shooting floors in November and the makers have given the cast a break to train in the sport. "It was important for us to finish this schedule before we start shooting the kabaddi sequences. A month-and-half, I feel, is too short a time to learn a game like kabaddi, but we are going to give it our all. National-level players like Gauri Wadekar, Vishwas More and Tarak Raul will train the actors. Kangana has been training physically, now she will begin full-fledged prep," director Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari was quoted as saying by Mumbai Mirror. Besides Kangana Ranaut, Panga also stars Richa Chadha in a key role and will also join Kangana in the training sessions. Panga may be released in later part of 2019 and is expected to be a bigger release.
In the meanwhile, Kangana Ranaut has almost wrapped up the magnum opus Manikarnika which is directed by Krish. The director opted himself out of the film and moved on to the biggest biopic in Telugu NTR. Kanagana took over the responsibilities of directing the film and has almost wrapped up the final schedule.
